Rip software is out of my budget but right now I’m only doing one color prints with no Halftones I have a Epson wf7720 would that work fro printing out transparencies? If so what should my settings be so that I can get good opaque print outs? Thanks!

It aint stupid if it works. Here, we put cooking oil on bond paper so it becomes more transparent. (We call it bondtika) But it's really messy hahahaha wouldnt recommend it. But i think tracing paper would work for solid thick designs.

use photoshop for seps. if you know the relationship between resolution, pixels, and points, then any seps is a breeze. no rip and no surprises.
