I'll be commenting this from a childs perspective. I personally don't agree with many of the available things, and don't think it should be used for kids over about 10. It ruined the relationship between me and my parents and the trust in our family is completely gone. If your kid is on their phone for an abnormal amount of time, talk to them, ask them if they're okay, do stuff with them, it could be a way of escapism. Taking that a way could cause a turn in their mental health. Be careful with how much you restrict your kids, they aren't young forever.

You have more control if they are using android. If iPhone the phone is limited
