Another aspect about Qimir- while Mae was breathing hard after their fast trek through the forest, he had hardly broken a sweat. The Force projection thing just does not fly. In the sequels it is shown to be VERY exhausting, Kylo says Rey could not even do the Force Skype alone without being killed. And when Luke Force projects it KILLS him, even after doing it only briefly. No way Osha and Mae could keep it up nonstop for almost 10 years. And there are always people with them and neither one just "disappears" to show any discontinuing of the projection. They are both real people.

That or Qimir just killed his master and is looking for a sith apprentice. Osha might become the apprentice when the Jedi persecute Mae and fully turns to the Dark side. Osha is rediscovering her connection to the force and in both instances of her feeling or connecting to the force, she's tapped into the dark side. She froze the bug in ep 3 and in ep 4, she was drawn to the bugs which seem to be poisoning the forest and or are drawn to whatever is creating a dark side aura which Sol sensed.

I always thought it was a strange writing choice to have the Jedi be so ignorant as to assume that the Sith were completely and entirely wiped out in the galaxy, despite that same galaxy being immensely vast, still mostly uncharted, and full of surprises. One would think that the attitude would be more along the lines of eternal vigilance, that the Sith may still be out there because the galaxy is simply too large to ever know for certain. But no, the attitude is “yeah we totally got em!”.

to be fair to them, the sith were very aggressive and used to multiply quite rapidly. in kotor now legends revan seemingly opened i believe 2 different schools to teach and train sith. the sith spent millenia fighting the jedi/republic and literally conquering parts of the galaxy. then they fight them and suddenly they dont hear from them again. decades go past and nothing then a century still nothing then 2 and then 3. 500 years go by and not a peep from the sith. thats pretty unheard of since the time of their split. the sith are passionate hatefilled force users. it makes no sense that a group so driven by hate and passion wouldn't come back and attack them again in all these years. the natural assumption is that they did in fact finally manage to kill them off.

Yeah I'm kinda still right there with you I think it's probably too obvious, but that scene with osha still trips me up. He knew she wasn't Mae from the first second she said hey and he was all calm and rather threatening in his speech and demeanor, but then switched it up to acting nervous when the jedi walked in. Pretty sure by the way he was talking and how he was making sure he could be heard by a microphone she had on her that he even knew they were listening and said what he said so they would enter the room.

I dunno looking at the arms especially I just can't see how it would be mother Aniseya, but it could well be Rwoh, because Leslie Headland did say her wife has two roles in this show. But then again, there is that one scene where Master Rwoh gets out there lightwhip and they look to be in the same forest area of that planet so it's one of those 50/50 things. I'm think it might still be a retconned Plagueis
@ben97243 ай бұрын
I'm not sure, but the helmet of the Master gave me some Darth Momin vibe. In the Vader comic, an helmet with the spirit of Momin is use so that he would create Vader's citadel. We know Bane created the Rule of Two, but except Bane, Plagueist and Sidious we don't have much know Sith that would have been alive during this period. Personally, while I do see the “Osha’s Projecting Mae through the Force” theory as plausible, it muddies too many things to be what they’re going for. Too many specific things need to happen in sequence, rather than the obvious “she just survived somehow”. I mean, Maul was cut in half and dropped down a reactor shaft and he survived for nearly 20 years alone. If this is true, Qimir has a funny correlation to Jason, Manny Jacinto’s character from The Good Place. In The Good Place, his character is introduced to the audience as Jianyu, a Buddhist monk who has taken a vow of silence, when in reality, he is Jason Mendoza, a clueless idiot from Jacksonville, FL. In The Acolyte, it’s kinda the opposite. He presents as this, lowly, fixer type, someone who isn’t powerful, but connected, and kind of absent minded, in the same way Jason was. If true, he will then become this powerful dark side user, a type of monk for his own dark cause. I don’t know if there’s anything to that, I just thought it was interesting.

If you fell asleep watching Andor is because you cannot watch characters speaking more than 4 words at a time to each other. But yes Acolyte is not slow and boring. In that same Darth Vader comic series (issue 22), we are given the history of the Mask of Momin. This person in the Acolyte (probably Qimir) could be wearing that mask, meaning he is possessed by the spirit of Lord Momin, and not necessarily acting out of free will.

The dark figure is the apprentice, Sol is the Master. The apprentice wants the acolyte to kill the master, so the apprentice bevomes the master and the acolyte becomes the apprentice. The rule of 2.

This helmet with teeth made me think, maybe that unbelieveable strong dark force user could have something to do with Abeloth…. Fits quiet well with the „corrupted force mother theme“ Maybe the supposedly sithlord is the „Mother of the siblings“. And these giant isopods that turn into flying moth reminded me a lot to the ominouse Killik species.

In the third episode, mother Coral looked out into their power generation area and heard something. She gave the other mothers a look. I believe that was the sith apprentice or Master that was hiding in the shadows and there. The explosion in the fire was that power generation area that we hear off screen. The sith Lord did it. I think it was obvious in a way.

I think the idea Mae and Osha are one is also hinted at because of the name Qimir. It is pronounced similar to chimera, which is used to describe two distinct genetics in one body.

The reference at 15:48 to the Brecon Beacons in Wales doesn’t seem to match the location shown. I climbed Pen y Fan and Cribyn on a school weekend trip and it’s amazing there, but barren and windswept. However, the lush landscape location looks more like inland Madeira which I visited just over 2 years ago (the whole island is stunning!) where half of the town of Porto Moniz was closed off to the public due to filming of The Acolyte.

Here’s my two candidates for who the master is: Mother Aniseya as she has reason to hate those 4 jedi(they took away Osha and helped to cause the burning of her witch fortress). Qimir: Idk I just have a feeling

The mother is the red saber. She controlled the wookie like she did with torbin. She made the wookie attack torbin. She controlled the wookie that's why there's symbols where the wookie lives. We watched mother control torbin so at the end of the 2nd episode the wookie eyes are dark like torbin being controlled. And maybe not... remember when everyone thought the inquisitor was someone but was only dust??? Just let's watch and be excited. I love how star wars is being evolved and brought to life right now in my age. It's not only about Luke, Leah, vader, and old stuff. Let's keep it moving forward in this lore.

Its refreshing to have people not have such a hatred bias on things they don't like or understand. Even though I'm not a big fan of how things are being rewritten, I don't mind the show. Besides some choice writing here and there, this show is doing Star Wars well and leagues better than Book of Boba in my eyes...it had a damn vespa chase scene, the only plus side to that show was the Thundercat cameo.

@@Iwillone Oh for sure. Black Krrsantan and Cad showing up was real treat tbh, but still lacked depth in parts. Best part has to be the mandalorian arc though, I completely forget that his whole struggle with the new blade and etc, was in book of boba. Felt like a completely different show within a show cause how well done it was. So I do eat my shorts a little, but that show only has those star factors for me personally, writing was just bad. And it’s semantic for me at this point because I’m not going to rewatch either of these shows after I’m done watching them ya know? Not unless this current one picks up pace and writing towards the end but they BOTH could’ve been done much better than they were. 07:25 except that force projection is one of the ultimate force abilities that she probably doesn't control, plus projection can't touch anything. That theory is as leaky as a colander. Also the theory that they are 1 person is the same - in this episode we saw that they are in one moment in completely different places, so there is no time for her to switch places/roles.
