For those who haven't seen Ferris Bueller's Day Off, let me completely spoil the plot for you: There's a teenage boy played by a 25 year old actor who has all the most high-tech electronic equipment but can't afford a car. He fakes a potentially terminal kidney illness so he can skip school on the day of a big test, gets his hypochondriac best friend and his girlfriend to join him, they do a bunch of stuff that would in reality take at least 10 hours to do all within the span of a 6-hour school day, all while dodging the school's dean of students who is obsessed with just this one student and who ends up riding a school bus full of kids in the late evening long after all the kids would normally have already been home from school.
