I remember mlp lesson zero it shows fluttershy 'snapping' the bears neck but actually was giving the bear a 💆. Lesson zero shows Twilight is supposed to turn in a friendship lesson to princess celestia on what she had learned but she didn't learn anything so she tries to find a friendship lesson, but couldn't find one so she decided to make one. (The whole episode also shows twilight showing psychopathic behavior/inapropiate behavior)

It's a really childish show overall, but the characters on their own are actually kind of fun. Twilight's smart but a control freak, AJ's honest but stubborn as hell, Dash's loyal but proud and arrogant, and Rarity's stuck-up yet generous with friends. Pinkie's ditzy and oblivious at times, but she can be relied on to keep everybody's spirits up. Finally, Fluttershy is timid as all get-out, but her energy is focused primarily on quietly helping animals and those whom she really trusts. Remove the friendship-magic and kids-show crap, then instill those personalities on six normal women with normal names, like this: Twilight --> Twilight (still works as a human) Rarity --> Rarity (...same reason, still works.) Pinkie --> Penelope Applejack --> Alison Rainbow --> Rachel Fluttershy --> Florence Suddenly their personalities are considerably more appealing to a wider audience. That's what I enjoy about the show, the characters and the flaws that they all work to improve past or embrace. The whole "friendship is magic" or "everything is all happy-go-lucky" is just....get that shit outta here. P.S. I only watched the first four episodes of the whole show and couldn't take how silly it was. What I did instead was explore the world of MLP interacting in different situations or with other universes ( i.e., Pokemon, Halo, Doom, RGRE [Reverse Gender-Role Equestria]). The common themes of each of these six girls was how I deduced their personalities. I ended up getting hooked on the whole idea of "A badass gentleman rocking the boat in RGRE, where all the females try to treat him like glass".

And the protagonist, Twilight Sparkle? If her magic blasts don't get you she can just turn you into a cactus, potted plant, or chair, or cross you with an orange.

Oh no no no, the original show isn't actually _that_ bad, since it has its adventure arcs. G2 was bad, G3 was worse, and 3.5 will melt your brain. But G4? _Friendship is Magic_? It's a family show, and _very_ watchable, although there _are_ some things as of season 4 which I'm not sure _kids_ should watch. I mean, beyond the epic fight scenes, there's a significant amount of brainwashing. That part in the season 5 premiere even creeped out Black Gryph0n, a military Brony, because it was too close to the truth.

I thought that was hysterical, both the original video when I had watched it for the first time, and the reaction video. For what it's worth, people have been throwing Pinkie Pie and Deadpool together just a tiny bit, due to a shared history of 4th wall jokes. In particular, there's even art by a Marvel artist with Deadpool holding a Pinkie Pie doll.

Lauren Faust was the one who recreated the MLP show. She worked on “The Power Puff Girls” so the show has a similar vibe to it along with the comedy. Originally was supposed to focus on just for girls but each season became more geared toward the fandom (which were an older crowd). Still a pretty well written show for it to be centered around magical ponies and friendship.

I don't like that they put so much dislike into My Little Pony. Like they said, they have never watched it before so they can't judge it before they even watched it. I really like My Little Pony, and me being the age I am it is seen as childish but I don't care cause I rather be watching My Little Pony all day than do the things people my age do. It is a very interesting show and if you really look into it even thought it is seen as "annoying", it has some very valuable life lessons, some that I have actually implemented in my life today.

You guys should really watch MLP: FiM. If you haven't learned about the backstory yet... Lauren Faust, long time affiliate with Cartoon Network decided to create the Fourth Generation of My Little Pony, giving it the subtitle: Friendship is Magic. At first, it started out within its demographic, young girls in Pre-School and Elementary School, but then one day, some older males decided to watch it... and they found out it was better than they anticipated. They were the first Bronies. They promoted Lauren Faust to the title: Fausticorn (no lie), and thus the Brony Community was created. Since then the Brony count skyrocketed all over the country, and even reached around the world. This Fourth Generation of Ponies was doing something the earlier Generations couldn't do... gather interest outside the target demographic and keep them. BTW, I'm not a Brony. I'm an MLP:FiM fan that's... outside the Brony Community. I recommend MLP:FiM to watch because it has some good lessons that even Adults need to learn/re-learn, or just be reminded of.
