Fast and efficient way to screw down floor underlay plywood. Using a Montana brand flippable counter sink drill bit and screw driver bit. I use Spax screws and my Milwaukee impact driver. I have replaced old crappy sections with Patriot Timber's SurePly board. 1/4 Inch. This makes a leveled surface on top of the main thicker structural plywood. We will lay engineere
d hardwood for the kitchen here. I use PowerGrab by Loctite with thick applications under the SurePly and also tringular or flat shims to level the new board first. Once happy with levels, I glue down the shims first with the adhesive and fill some spaces between shims with lines of adhesive thicker the shims. Then I lay down board, use my own body to press it down and then start adding screws.
