Using a universal brake caliper piston rewind tool kit on both the front and rear brake calipers. This handy tool kit has left-hand and right-hand threaded winder tools and a selection of adaptor plates that fit almost any type of brake caliper. NOTE: If the right-hand threaded tool gets stuck in the caliper, you need to rotate the 'body' of the tool clockwise to loosen it (or counterclockwise with the left-hand threaded tool). could you loosen the xerxe fitting on the caliper a put a hose on it to drain safely, to reduce back pressure on the screw?

Yes you can open the bleed valve and drain the fluid as you reset the piston. Just be careful not to get any air in the system.

@@screwsnutsandbolts old school, put the hose in a container with the hose below the fluid in the container, crack the bleed nipple, and it is so much easier replace fluid as necessary.
