Precision, brilliance and legacy combined in an especially rare manner. So why did Brent Musburger interrupt the TV audience from hearing the band and crowd sing the climactic "Buckeye Battle Cry"? Couldn't he have waited 20 seconds?

I hope this year they show it. The network should show the traditions that make the rivalry what it is. And I’m a Michigan guy. I want to see Script Ohio on tv (and Michigan’s role in script Ohio told to the audience). I want to hear the fight songs of the teams. It’s a beautiful thing.

Here's the thing. When Tressel came in as the new OSU coach, he said one thing mattered...beating Michigan. He knew what the rivalry was all about. And I respect Tressel for that. Rich Rod obviously doesn't, and the sooner he leaves, the better the Wolverine program will be. Michigan needs a coach that can not only revive the team to be one of the two dominant teams in the Big 10, but to restore the meaning of THE GAME.

Typically for home games they do a single large script except for the alumni game. For aways games, it's usually a double script so the alternates can march too. Alumni games are cool, because the alumni band does a double large scripts and the regular band does a double small script in the end zones.

i totally agree with you ferbus03 idk how ppl can talk shit about us when we made it to the national championship and we should have won that game too if that Austin Spitler wouldn't have been too aggresive and hit LSU's punter it would have been a WHOLE new game.....BUCKS FOR LIFE!!

I love how OSU made it to the national championship during a "rebuilding" year. We lost, yes. Keep in mind it was a year we knew we wouldn't do well, and yet we still made it to the national championship...had we played VT like we should have, we would have been national champions. Just wait....2008
