I disagree about the people commenting that season 3 was a disappointment. I actually enjoyed most of it because it made the relationship between Beth and Rio so much more complicated which is very interesting for their possible story line in season 4. The first episode of season 3 showed a lot of Rio and how BADASS he is. They started to portray Rio as if he was angry at Beth (which makes sense looking at the circumstances), but the interesting thing is that he continued to seek her out. I think if it was any other person who tried to kill Rio, Rio would not have let that person get away with it. Aka season 3 showed that Rio has a soft spot for Beth. At the very end of the last episode of season 3 Beth asked when the business she started would be hers, Rio answered with 'next time empty the clip', the look that he gave her wasn't an angry look but he looked hurt!! In season 3 we learned that Rio is hurt that Beth was able to shoot him and we learned that Rio has a soft spot for Beth. Season 3 showed us that their relationship goes further than sexual attraction towards each other. This is why I have high hopes for season 4 because they can use this building up of their relationship and start to explore a more romantic relationship between Beth and Rio. The only thing I do agree with was that Rio had too little screentime in season 3.

Even though I agree with most of what you said, a lot of season 3 decisions made it very difficult for Beth and Río to develop an actual friendship. She never apologised for shooting him and leaving him to die, and instead she has hired another hitman to kill him off and danced around drinking bubbles thinking he's dead like a psychopath. I agree that season 3 did a good job convincing us that Río has genuine feelings for Beth because there is no other explanation as to why she is still alive. But how is season 4 going to convince that Beth genuinely cares for Río?
