🥸 Silence is also consent. This aphorism is too simplistic, since it would undoubtedly depend upon the circumstances; with those events / circumstances, being a function of the individual(s) degree of consent (e.g.- silence). For example, the nuns & Nazis during WWII. Or the Biden Administration's use of 'lawfare' & lies, against Trump & other individuals within the MAGA movement; which certainly aims to stifle free speech & hence is fascistic, by its very nature. 💖

Perhaps but its hard to write a dissertstion in a chat where.most have a 30 sec attention span. However Augustine's source is excellent and he had a lot to say about it. Its an excellent read!
