Such a special joint! I remember seeing the video on MTV back when it came out and it hit me hard. As a devoted hiphop fan since 1988 who also grew up on 80's pop music, this is truly the best of both worlds right here. Big up!

FUCK YEAH DUDE I ALWAYS LOVED THIS VIDEO !! my mom played this for me all the time as a little kid back in like…2012 ! i’ve always had a deep love for this song, if i remember correctly, this was my introduction to rap, and was really important in my development as a black kid in the states. aside from all the mushy gushy stuff, the video is just really beautiful, love the colour palette, and the text over everything. labret green always puts a smile on my face, too. much love forever
