@waccness449 Жыл бұрын
Politics is more important. Without a stable government and a free economy science can't progress. Everything relies on politics. The better the politics, the more stuff that gets done. The more science there is. The more inventions and innovations there are. Politics are the means to which everything else works. These engineers wouldn't exist if India had a different political climate. Maybe if they were still under British rule it couldn't have happened. Oh and its "humanities."

@@adityanrajesh2634 you literally just repeated your statement. Thats not an argument. Lets take aryabhata's works. His 2 works that are most important are aryabhatiya and aryasidhhanta. Aryasidhhanta is a lost work. Aryabhatia never got famous in the modern period because of eurocentricism. It was in the information age, it got its recognition. So even if every single person knew about this in India, how would that have made any difference? To british empire, indians were just lowly creatures meant to be slaves. Eurocentricism was sky high and the works and inventions of the eastern world were either plagiarised or forgotten. Even today....a teacher cannot fight a war and a labourer cannot work in the lab. Its just not birth based. Their children may do those things which they didn't or couldnt. So the only difference is birth based profession. But the reality stays the same. Everyone wont be the keeper of knowledge. You, a common person, will never get to know about the secret missions of RAW. About the secret military research going on in labs. Search on google about stealth bombers and there are many things which wont be revealed to you. The only difference between ancient india and today's world is birth based profession. Hence its clear that your argument and your conclusion are both wrong.

@@AnmolKumar-km3gd totally disagree, knowledge sharing improves the net technological output of a community. We are Indians, we don't want to brag about ourselves, we are open for suggestions, we don't compete with others in any field, our goal is not to suppress anyone, we don't want anyone's land, we will always defend what is ours and won't show interest in anything that's not ours. India is probably the only country where it’s own citizens feel so proud and motivated to insult their own ancient history. I am not Indian but even I know and the fact that the Indus Valley Civilisation was the most advanced civilisation in history and even their economy up till the 1500s. I think this is main the reason behind India’s downfall after the 1500s.
@peacemaker88903 жыл бұрын
All countries have same people who not respect thair ancient civilizations. In India little more people like this . There are 3000+ type of community to live in India. Not All people disrespect country.

How is that something to be proud of? We lost it all because we were never able to keep the country in one piece. We never spread the world because of the selfish nature of the brahmins in that era. They couldve let the world learn about science but they did not. It clearly backfired. The brits tore us to shreds because WE let it happen. I would rather be proud of what we are now than what we lost.

We Indians will always help likes of Stephen Hawkins but never be one. We will always follow the path but won't create any. Such is the case with engineering which is regarded the ultimate in my country can never match up with research work that west does. We cannot pioneer ideas as physicist, mathematicians, biologist, etc but we can always obey because we have been engineered so since our birth. 1.Never go against parents. 2.Never go against govt. 3.Study according to exam. 4.Learn everything as it is presented, don't ask WHY? 5.Simple English to Hindi translation of lessons by teachers in junior high school. Monologues by teachers without any active discussion among students and teachers. 6.One who can learn all is the best. 7.IIT/IIM/IAS/CA/LAW are ultimate. And even if engineering is concerned. Not much tools we use in our life comes from these IITs. All they do is teach so that the west buys those students to do the their work cheaper.

No I don't think so, you know this process is called incubation phase, many countries has gone through it. People who are talented will always look for quality life, that's why many indians move to west but to say that we are going to be like this always it's farce and gross misrepresentation of reality. India is slow but fortunately it is on an upward trajectory. First we started as engineers then we became CEOs now is the phase of entrepreneurship. Rest about our cultural upbringing it will reform itself with growing wealth. Wealth and education are two of the most transforming factors in any society. Hope India don't hit any major ditches along the way.

1. Not completely true. Parents nowadays are atleast more open minded than before. 2. Not true at all 3. 99.8% true 4. True 5. True but Not everywhere 6. Not true 7. True, but now people are more aware than before. And education system is also changing, it may take some time. As everything needs some time.
