Same thing happened with me I am 18. First I thought it was my mistake ,but actually they were jealous of how happy i & dogs were. These people are uneducated ,they don't have basic sense of love & care. I don't know how they are keeping up with their families. They can't withstand anyones happiness. Especially animals. I would certainly achieve my goals that does this on huge scale. By being successful & away from these bastard cruel neighbours.

I have been doing the same thing for past 3 years, I have one dog and 7 free roaming dogs, I feed them 3 times a week as a teenager I don't have enough to feed them but I still do my best despite being scrolled by my mother every time😂

Me and my Mom feed stray dogs of our locality 3 times a day and keep a water tub filled in our garden for them. Our neighbours give us that strange mad look as if I were a mad person. Nothing can beat the peace I get from feeding these dogs. It has cured my depression and I feel happy caring for them.

I like the idea that the relationship between the dogs and humans are not based on ownership, and are instead seen more as a companionship. Where I'm from, dogs are simply fashionable accessories revealing one's wealth. The word "stray" has a lot of negative connotations attached to it. I think the relationship between the stray dogs and humans is reflective of the primitive relationship between humans and dogs, where the dogs benefit from food, water and shelter from humans, but may continue to live its life in any way that it wishes.

India should just deal with its stray dogs the way they do in the USA: Round up every stray dog then place them into a pound/shelter, and if no one adopts a dog within a certain number of days then it should be euthanized with lethal injection

They can be sterilized and local people must be encouraged to adopt dogs rather than buy expensive breeds for thousands of rupees. Dogs are precious
