Thanks Leonardo. That's really kind of you to say. I can't believe how time has flown since my last vid. I've been so busy, but it's good to get this one out, at last. I'm excited for the next couple of videos too. Stay tuned :-)

Excellent. I'm pleased yohenson. This isn't the easiest way to scroll though. It's the most basic. Do check out the other 2 videos on scrolling for the other techniques. They might make it even easier for you.

Is there any way to do this but while selecting multiple columns??
@DarrenTAnims4 ай бұрын
If you want to move multiple columns at once, you can connect them in the stage schematic. Then move the parent column and the rest will move with it.

Is there any way we can make it look a bit smoother? I've just recreated this but it looks quite jerky. Nice video though.
@DarrenTAnims4 жыл бұрын
The smoothness of this, as with a lot of animation, is a combination of the timing and spacing. So it's a matter of how fast the background moves and how far it moves in that time. So try adjusting those. But also, take a look at the next 2 methods, in case they work better for you.

@@DarrenTAnims thanks for the reply Darren so if I say double the amount of frames it should look smoother? I'll check your other videos out. Cheers

@@Harv3yMatt - I assume you mean the drawings. The number shown will be the drawing number. So I'm guessing you're repeating the drawings.

3:07 when i do this is dessapears

I don't understand, which part? Do you mean pressing the lock button or dragging the column? Make sure you've selected on the drawing in the column and not the camera column. And drag it slowly. You could be dragging it quickly.

I've noticed that OpenToonz Morevna codebase - has not been updated since February.This is a bit serious for Linux users...does this mean people are moving to Blender?
@DarrenTAnims5 жыл бұрын
No, I suspect that they're just getting ready for their next release (whenever that is), but I'm not in contact with them directly, so it's a bit of a guess.
