Not really, because that's the entire point of the meeting. Obviously the clock starts after the facility is built.
@caleb497122 жыл бұрын
@@triple7marc it’s not obvious. business contracts can be tricky sometimes, they might have expected the terms to be met within 2 years of the contract being signed, so it was smart for Lori to specify that the clock starts after the factory is completed and not when the contract is signed as the factory might take a while to complete.

Not really. I'm a business owner, and you need to explicitly speak it and write down on paper. Because business people may have similar minds and intentions but different expectations and timelines/capabilities.
@OP_-pk9hm Жыл бұрын
@@triple7marc Sounds like you have not met with stakeholders, Founders, Presidents, etc. I consult for manufacturers who are talking about million-dollar contracts and 5-10 year agreements. Everything needs to be communicated. How long until we get the Cap Ex? Okay, have we done the investment planning, sourcing, delivery time, implementation period, etc. All these things need to be charted out in a contract with the estimated delivery time and when results are due. Stakeholders will not write this out for you. You should tell them all the conditions if you ask for their money. Their job is to read and sign or decline. That's it. Never assume.

I was skeptical for a while of Scrub Daddy, then we tried it out and ever since we've had a scrub daddy by the sink. I even used one while teaching Cooking Merit Badge at summer camp and it actually made it easier to get the kids to clean the dishes. They started a cult around it, actually, proclaiming "All hail Scrub Daddy!!" several times a day while cleaning the pots and pans. I would act annoyed because it made them want to do it more, when in reality I was as excited as they were, partly because it was fun and partly because I no longer had to worry about the clean up at the end of each class.

This is going to be the largest Shark Tank success story. Lori literally bent over backwards for him, she knew what this was worth. Lori never changes her final offer, if they counter, she nearly always doesn't see faith in them. That's because her offers are normally very fair. This is the one time she caved and accepted the counter after her final offer. Damon, actually did this to her. She could have walked away with a far higher stake in this company. However, I have never been more certain in a company's future. If they opened up the ability to buy stock in this company, I would right away. Lori, to me, is making the wrong decision approaching this like normal business. She should be opening up public funding rounds and letting us both finance and benefit from their explosive sales.
