Then, Kim out of the blue said that there was a miscarriage/the baby died in the womb. They parted ways, the relationship was destroyed, and JD spiraled into the worst depression of his life where he couldn't even go to the bathroom without being knocked out in a coma. In this episode, he was only starting to claw his way out of that misery and then he found out that Kim was always pregnant after all. She used him, destroyed him, and sent him into that spiral of misery. . .all of no reason. So yeah, JD has ever damn reason to be pissed.

The things that pisses me off the most about this situation and Kim is that JD found out the truth by accident. It’s never said in the show but if he hadn’t ran into her by chance at the convention, would Kim have told him? And if so when, when her water broke, as she’s giving birth, after the fact? It pisses me off so much more cause she plays the victim later when JD says he doesn’t think he can love her. What does she expect! She lied about a miscarriage, was a month away from essentially stealing JD kid! How can anybody ever trust someone like her?!

I agree with the honesty expectation, but miscarriage is very different from a child dying. US infant mortality is 0.54%, miscarriage rate is 10-20% or more (CDC/Mayo Clinic). Miscarriage is sad, but more common than many want to talk about, and something everyone should be prepared for. If someone lied about JD's live baby dying, that would be much more stunning, and cruel. But, yeah, hiding a baby from a competent father denies him the chance to meet his ethical and sometimes legal/financial obligations to the child. It's emotionally abusive and underhanded - don't do it! Use a lawyer if you have to but he needs to know!

+Aja Wilson-Well, telling her this while she was in the delivery room wasn't the best way to break it (to be fair, she did press the issue). But Kim had no right to expect that JD was still in love with her after all the shit she pulled. She told him that their baby was miscarried/the baby died in the womb. She sent him into the worst depression of his life, and she did it for no reason. To be fair, JD TRIED to give the relationship a chance, see if there was any way he could love Kim again on his own terms. He just didn't have it in him but wanted to stay for their baby. At best, that was the best Kim could've hoped for. It would have even been far more preferable had she understood that, allowed JD room to move on but invited him to stay in her life for the baby. Not forcing him to admit that he didn't love her in the delivery room and then screaming at him for it in front of the nurses. . .
