Having senior members in scrum teams is a big plus for overall value delivery but sometimes their attitude, behavior and ways of working simply don't align to the expectation of Agile WoW which create difference of opinion and chaotic situations. You have explained in excellent way how to handle senior people in the Scrum Team, I had similar situations and followed the 2nd approach you had mentioned in this video "constructive criticism", it was somewhat helped me bring the person to the alignment somewhat, but still he is having behavior of showing superiority with everyone of the team, he would often be attacking individual when things go wrong but I will keep saying that when things go wrong then it's collective responsibility so we need to find out solution as a team to fix the issue rather than attacking individual that will affect team bonding & collaboration..
