Thanks to your video, I found where the leak was coming from! That white plastic piece that's broke on your car, is ok on mine. But I followed that line along the fuel tank, and found a 3" section where a squirrel, or rat had chewed almost completely through the line! But, at least I found it. Thanks for making this video!

Yes I just got the check fuel cap on my Mustang and I did check the fuel cap and it looks fine the Rubber seal looks perfect I change my cap in 2017

I have a p0442 and it says I have a small leak I did the fuel pump and one of the hoses kinda looked a lil melted, would I have to replace the whole vapor canister?? Already replaced the cap

I would look for any hoses that are cracked that could be leaking first.

Hey Danny I had a issue with my car refueling 04 Gt with no codes. Not letting air vent out of the tank. Replaced tank vapor valve on top of tank cannistor small blue one large one is discontinued, new vent valve that goes on to cannistor, purge valve on right front wheel. New filler neck checked my evap lines no cracks or corrosion. Do you think I have a clog in the hoses? And if so can I run compressed air when I drop the tank?.

I had the same thing happen. Where you ever able to order a new plastic connector out did you leave it taped?

Hello Danny, I have a 1999 cobra. My right rear reverse light is not working. In the trunk there is a large cylindrical object that blocks the right rear tail light access. I don't know what it is or how to remove it. Any help???

Thanks for the video! I have the same code and have been having issues with it for a while, do you think the gas cap light could be on because of an aftermarket cap? I have a locking one, and I believe that’s causing my gas light, but I also have the p0455 code as well...

Hey Danny, thanks for the video. I got a 1450p on my 2004 Mustang. Seems like my research has been showing to replace the purge valve but the printout from the part store says evap canister vent hose. Is that what you did here? I apologize if that's a stupid question; I'm not very mechanically inclined! Also, for a DiYer, would you start with the valve or the hose?

If there is not any damage to the hose I would go for the purge valve.

It seemed like it would need the whole part to fix just the line. eBay or salvage yard is probably your most cost effective option

Newer cars seem to have overly sensative evap purge canisters. Cant really top off fuel like these older ones.

Joseph Bentley A lot of cars even have capless gas systems. Seems it would be an issue for the system as well

hey Danny, I have a 2000 Ford Mustang and I can’t seem to find the canister purge valve.. i know there’s one under the passenger wheel well but apparently there’s another one an I cannot seem to find it at all and I’ve looked everywhere can’t even find it on google or other forums.. any advice or know where it’s at? it also goes by “purge flow sensor”

RobbiesSpace There is a little reset post you push on (1999 year and newer) that allows you to cycle from milage to trip meter. Holding it down then resets the trip meter when you’re on that function.
