I haven’t seen many people talking about the mariachi singer, Deyra Barrera, that he used vocals from on this album. The story is pretty dope and Rolling Stone covered it. She performed a song honoring a late friend at a Dodgers game and Kendrick got in contact with her because of her voice. Before this she’s been working gig to gig and had highs and lows in terms of income. I love what he did putting LA artists on a bigger stage with this album. This can change her life. This album gave her another fan personally and I know it will have the same effect with others. I recommend going to Rolling Stone for the longer articule and learning her full story

Reimcarnated is immediately one of my favorite songs ever made. It’s so layered I could write a dissertation on it. At first I thought he was rapping about himself or maybe Pac. Then I realized like you that he was rapping from the perspective of different artists and I was clutching my head in amazement. And then he swerves and reveals what he’s REALLY doing and I damn near fell out of my chair. He’s literally calling himself Lucifer. He’s looking at his actions over the past year and casting himself as the reincarnation of the devil himself. The final verse isn’t a conversation between different sides of himself but between himself as the devil and God. How does your mind even have to work to begin to think of this? So yeah remember when you called him the Devil after one of his diss tracks earlier this year? He agrees.

1:50:50 he's talking about how his pen is his muse, and his muse is Whitney. Gloria is a love song to his wife. Throughout his entire career, Whitney has been there to help him with his downs and lows. She was there for him wherever and whenever. I'm gonna also assume that he made this too because she was there for Kendrick during the whole beef and supported him AND in MMATBS she was the voice of reason. She helped Kdot with therapy and even was the one to suggest it (according to his song United in Grief). Every album he made so far I think has a track devoted to Whitney.

Scru, the reason for hidden features because they're like gems for fan engagement. People didn't know SZA would be on "luther" so when they heard her voice, they were like "OH MY GOD??? SZA??? WTF". It almost provides an energy boost to a track and keeps listeners engaged in a different way. Fans have even asked you in comments not to pull up features for certain albums (i.e. Tyler, The Creator). Watch other reactors and see how they respond to hidden features and you'll get it. Pretty sure Kanye popularized this as well.
