12:32 i believe there is a line here, if you did want to go for it. Use the 4 treasures to cast Sabertooth, tap cradle for 4 green mana. Use 2 green mana, bounce Dockside. Use 1 green mana, activate Survival of the Fittest, pitch Ouphe, get Simian Spirit Guide. Exile Guide, have RG floating, cast Dockside, get 5 Treasures, use two to bounce, two to recast, present loop, have infinite for Rocco.

I think game shows even more why Collector Ouphe is super imporent for most of green decks in cEDH. Even if CAM was "locked" him self from wining, he lock 3 other players too, so it was a card that won him a game. Still Rocco can win with Ouphe in play, and that makes is one of the most fun deck to play for me (stax, that is still fast combo that use creatures :D).

The burnt offering note: you actually pay costs in the order you choose. So you can convoke first, then sacrifice, so Dylan's play is actually legal. Similar but not entirely the same example from the Judge academy training on this: You choose in which order you pay the costs. And sometimes it matters. I have 2 green mana in my mana pool so my Omnath, Locus of Mana is 3/3. I cast Life’s Legacy. If I use my 2 green mana to pay the mana cost first, my Omnath will be a 1/1 when I sacrifice it. So I will draw only 1 card. If I sacrifice Omnath first (it’s a 3/3) and then pay the mana cost, I will draw 3 cards. Much better!

The probabilities of a 2d6 roll are also distributed along a normal distribution bell curve, meaning that it is much more likely to roll values closer to the median of 7 than it is to roll values toward the extremes of 2 and 12; making thos dice roll (the same as any dice roll including multiple dice) unfitting for the roll of gamble. What is needed here is a single dice of which the probabilities are evenly distributed.

Ok so… hear me out. I don’t think tori made a spite play. She is straight up stopping Dylan from winning yes, and she is doing it in a way that seems like she will be losing the game. But! (This is a stretch) if collector ouphe is removed and also her graveyard is shuffled into her library, she can pay with treasures and not lose on her draw step. It’s a slim chance but she not entirely out of the game. Also that force flip was devastating. 😂 fantastic game y’all.

@Spirited_skiing @STIPanda Well.. Let's put it this way; it was a spiteplay, because Tori did kinda act out of spite. But I would argue it was also a defensible play. First I need to admit that my previous comment was wrong; letting the PitA resolve was not a 100% chance to lose. Dylan could blank. The question then becomes: is the chance of Dylan *not* winning off PitA larger than the chance of Tori somehow surviving the turncycle and eeking out a win or a draw later in the game? And there I have to admit.. probably. Making the Pact also technically incorrect. TL;DR: it was a spiteplay, it could've actually also been the technically correct play, but it probably wasn't ;) Good talk though

I wouldn't consider the Pact of Negation a spite play. While unlikely, if the ouphe were to die before Tori's next turn and Cam or Lua cast an Endurance targeting Tori's graveyard, she could live. This probably wouldn't happen, so it's a fun play, but not a spite play. Being the only blue player that could realistically cast more than one spell a turn, Tori was potentially the most likely person to be able to stop a win attempt from Dylan. If Cam were to value that and then be able to go for a win after, the unlikely scenario could happen.

I can't see the decklist so not 100% sure, but I think that with 2 green and an untapped Birds, Cam could have used 1g to survival for twinshot sniper, then 1r1g to channel it to kill the oophe and proceed to the win step. He might not have had a creature in hand to activate the survival though, so could be moot. Edit: Ah the perils of writing a comment before finishing the video. Anyways assuming that Twinshot sniper is in the deck, discarding Destiny spinner should have gotten to a win.
