Congratulations on getting a diving certification. I love being underwater it is like passing through another world. I used to free dive and you have to overcome any panic impulse and maintain control. Where the sun's rays illuminate the surrounding darkness always seems so majestic and reassuring. @@chica.bonita5 I was taught in Florida and I loved diving in the keys (west) a lot of coral reefs and fish ! I did some lake dives in Arizona , and that’s like being in outer space total darkness using lites , scary causes all you see is flashes go by and don’t know what or how big the fish are ! lol !

I remembered you mentioned planning to go scuba diving! Was wondering when you were going! Glad to see you are living another dream of yours!!! Going into a dark cave is definitely scary. Several hundred feet below the water is NOT a good place to have a panic attack. Is it possible you have claustrophobia? Could have been the hidden claustrophobia kicking in, or a general survival instinct. But when we were about to enter the cave for the first time my body sure had something different in mind than my initial plan 😅 luckily it still turned out to be an awesome experience 😊

Was this a saltwater or fresh water dive? it is definitely very clear. How much longer will you be in Mexico?

Both 😅 nicely divided by the Halocline on the floor you see the much darker and murkier salt water while above there is fresh water with a vision of up to 70m/230feet. Sadly my old GoPro wasn't able to fully portrait the awesome of the environment down there but I'm sure Google has a few nice picture about it 😊

You really should have a dive suit that zippers in the front. You can always get out of it in an emergency. The zipper in the back is for surfers.

Never heard it like that - but it also makes sense. I just heard that in the front the zipper band can get caught somewhere when you dive to close whereas in the back it's tucked underneath the BCD

Congratulations 🎊 diving! Great job. I would recommend diving in warm, clear, tropical waters(in bikini/shorts, not freezing in a heavy wetsuit). I am a SCUBA Instructor, National Diver Medic, Commercial and Recreational Diving expert and would love to show you the real diving experience. Awesome. I've been diving for 20 years and my new favorite spot is Cozumel. I have already been diving in Cozumel twice this year and plan to go back. If you have never done Cozumel make sure to give it a try.
