That glass piece could be a prism for light off of a ship or canal boat!! Usually inserted into the deck for light below decks. Very valuable!

(thought it would work as normal due to it being water proof within certain parts of the detector), on dry land and sand worked well. My first one, so still have lots to learn

Your spoon at 13:41could be a caddy spoon, for measuring tea as it's taken from a tea caddy. It looks to be about the correct size for that, and the Dutch were actually into tea-drinking before the British were. Congratulations on finding the gentleman's necklace!!

Premature commenter here again, I'm from the Northwest of USA and I'm four and a half minutes into the video, it reminds me alot of whale watching because you can only see the bubbles of the three guys, when you pointed out who was associated with what bubbles it was reminiscent of a biology pro spotting a specific animal out of a heard and saying oh I know that one! I love you vibe and your videos my friend. I only wish I could be out there with you!

I am actually in contact with the local hospital to ensure that this is not a missing person situation. I have given them the the pacemaker Serial Number and they're looking into it!

@@metalrepertor2249 I wondered about that, if maybe so foul play going on. The serial # is associated to a person. My dad had a pacemaker put in in his forties and I’m 58 with no need, but anyway they don’t remove them unless it’s necessary to replace it. They don’t hand you your old one like a souvenir! I’m curious how this plays out, please keep me informed!!

The spoon they found is a very old tea leaf spoon for spooning real tea leafs into a tea pot. I remember from my young days with my Nan. Some where highly decorated 👌

I grew up in Amsterdam during the 70s and 80s. My friends and I used to sometimes go fishing just for fun and we would often see sewage being released into the canals. I would not go swimming in the canals or let any of that water in my mouth.

How crazy? When you are watching this treasure hunter guy who's literally from the other side of the world riding his bike from a house that's a stone's throw from where i grew up:)!!!!!! Don't worry i'm not gonna mention where buddy. I don't know if you remember but i'm also the one who offered you a sailing trip over the sunken villages of the coast, me and my brother in law are sooo curious what's down there:) a couple years ago they found a huge ancient sarcofaag.

That sunken village sounds really intresting! where is this located exactly? Im from the netherlands myself, and live in a village next to the sea, our village is pretty old, and there's part of it in the ocean, and with part i mean, like the old church and the house thats connected to it. most of it is gone probably, but they speculate parts of the church are still intact :)

@@BondiTreasureHunter Cool man!! I'm thinking somewhere in august or the beginning of september. I'm more or less available every weekend but in august the water is alot warmer:) So the finetuning is gonna be easy. I'm assuming you know about this but you never know. You can clearly see on google maps where the dyke has broke somewhere in the 12th century. The whole Hoornse hop is water reclaimed by the sea you can clearly see where the dyke originally was. The thing is i don't understand how deep certain artifacts can sink in the sediment/bodem. for example how deep does a cannonball sink and is it out of reach after 4 centuries, if not you'll find them cause they should litter the bodem since we defeated the Spanish Armada inside the Hoornsche hop (old writing). Where i am a 100% certain you will find stuff is in front of the village Schellinkhout. That's also in the Hoornse hop With the difference that it's clean sand on the bodem (that must indicate something;) You can walk up to your knees or middle hundreds of meters from shore. Besides this being land 800 years ago it's a swimming (kite)surfing place for a looong time so it must be littered with coins and jewelry. I have never seen anybody in the water there with a detector like NEVER:) Where the sarcofaag was found (etersheim) i think it's a bit merky funny sidenote that sacrcofaag was found by amateur divers compared to them you are a superpro:)!!

I also just found out that there were many smaller artifacts found:) Imagine the thumbnail if you find well just about anything there:)!!! Also look at the attention it got...next to nothing. It's just CRAZY to think that they never really worked those areas over? hence it was found by amateurs:) Only in the last few years they started really mapping what's on the seafloor and they found more or less the entire Spanish fleet and STILL they aint diving for it??? you can actually find these maps online. I think this could be your go to places when you aint got much to do since it's easy access at these places from shore. For the places a little further out you can use the sailing trip offer:) we will finetune the date since i'm flexible. I think you should head out to schellinkhout on a shorter notice since i kinda spilled the beans on that one...my bad:)
