I’m really torn. My wife and I both dive but we’re very limited on where we can go. My wife administers home hemodialysis for her mom 5 days a week so we can only go away for two days max. We have become VERY familiar with four of the places that are close enough to central Indiana for us to dive!!! 😀. We both look forward to diving other places but for that to be possible means that something bad has to happen…. The good news is that we can experience awesome dives like this vicariously through you!!! Thank you!

Great videos, more additions to my diving bucket list. 😊 Ice Diving is AMAZING. You are already use to cold water, dry suit diving. It is an overhead environment, but you have dove cenotes, so, ENJOY! 😊

Yeah I’m looking forward to trying it out😁

You should! Maybe you can hit the dive along next year 🤙

It might seen counter intuitive, but for sidemount I find hose clamps faster to put on and adjust than cam bands. You just need a 5/16" nut driver, either a dedicated one or as part of a multibit driver like the Klein 32561 stubby screwdriver, and a tape measure. Once you have it setup for a type of tanks write down how far down the tank was proper and you can recreate it in minutes.
@AzulUnlimited Жыл бұрын
Thanks for this! I so rarely dive other tanks that I haven’t had a system in place for it, but that’s a good idea🤙

Hola… totally enjoyed this scuba & travel video! 👍 The opening scenes of Yellowstone and the second dive with the underwater geysers were AWESOME!👍 I have only seen Yellowstone in winter from the air flying into Jackson Hole… ⛷️ Would enjoy joining your Mexico dive, but headed to Baja next week… diving Cabo Pulmo, a hammerhead 🦈 dive at Gordo Banks and a night dive at the Cabo Marine Park… Viva Mexico! 🇲🇽 ☀️🌵😎 Adios y Buena Suerte…

I was on my way to do this dive with Benjamin and Nikki, but by car had problems and I had do turn around and go back home. I was sad that I couldn't do the dive, but even more sad when I found out that you were there and I missed a chance to meet you in person. I was able to do the dive a few years ago and really enjoyed it. Someday you should dive the Firehole River.

Aww, sorry you couldn’t make it! Hope your car is ok. I’ll look into that dive for next year!

I'm glad you had two great dives this week, Potty mouth! 🤣 I almost got head butted by a grey nurse today and I didn't even know about it till afterwards!!! 😱😂. After 1000+ dives at this site, night, day, early, late, I've never seen a Grey Nurse at this site in the 36 years I've been diving there. For it to miss me by such a close amount really shock me. 18"inches at most!!! I'm used to Nurse turning away and swimming off so for him to swim on by my face really surprised me. Anyway, enough about my dive. I'm glad you are getting in the water often. Where to next?
@YouTube_user3333 Жыл бұрын
We have a dive site here, that the sharks all try to get as close to you as possible. We have to instruct people on how to avoid being kicked in the face if they get spooked. 😂

30 min surface swim! Yeah idk about that haha I’m very lazy when it comes to diving haha I do my working out at the gym daily and scuba dive to relax haha 30 min fast pace swimming doesn’t sound too I’d be down to do this dive with my dpv ❤️👀

Very interesting vid. Had a little of everything, loved it 😊. How'd you like sidemount with steel cylinders compared to aluminum?
@AzulUnlimited Жыл бұрын
I’m gonna do a handful of sidemount videos in the next couple of months and cover this! I personally still like aluminums but it’s also what I’m used to
@billendres3115 Жыл бұрын
I agree with liking aluminum, I have 2 steel lp 95's I might make another sidemount configuration but maybe ill wait for you video. As always cant wait for your next video, no matter what the subject. . 😊

Nice informative video. Heading to Yellowstone (first time) next July for a 3 day youth camping trip…and I’m a diver so now I’m totally interested in diving while I’m there. Is there a local shop or group you would recommend I contact so I can coordinate a guide and cylinders? Thanks again 🤙 Ed

Maybe the best thing about your channel, is that you don't act like the "diver-who-knows-evreything". I've met several divers like that during my dive trips and they can make you hate diving!!!

"Largest high elevation lake in North America" - Does Lake Tahoe, at 6200 ft and 1.5x the surface area, not count?
@AzulUnlimited Жыл бұрын
The cut off is 7000 feet of elevation as far as I understand it
@dylansmith9215 Жыл бұрын
30minute surface swim?? oof, ya scooter dive then.
@AzulUnlimited Жыл бұрын
These dives were powered by poor, powerful legs 🤣 A scooter would definitely be better, but in this economy? 😆
