Very nice job Steve. I enjoyed the video. Nice clear images, multitude of marine life, nice pace to the footage (not too fast, not too slow), and the music was relaxing (not boring). Well done.

Wow, you caught some great moments! Amazing video! I’m curious about what happened to that turtle….looks like a big bite out of its shell.

Awesome footage. We head back to Bonaire in May. Plan to hit some sites on the east side this trip.

Beautiful footage!! I shoot with a Hero 7 Black and two 4200 big blue lights I've been so torn trying to fig out do I buy the hero 10 before our Bonaire trip that's coming up. 🤦🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️

I am sure you will enjoy your trip! Lighting matters more than the specific camera. I am enjoying my Hero 10 though. It is great at keeping things stable and has a pretty decent sensor.

At the same time? Amazing! What were your favorite dive sites?

Hi! I love this video. I have watched it 6 times already. I am planning a trip to Bonaire. Would you mind sharing with me which dive sites were featured in this video? Thank you so much!

Wow, thank you! This video includes many dive sites and it would be difficult to list which shots were from which sites. My favorite dive sites were Red Slave, Salt Pier (we did this at night, but it would be amazing day or night), Invisibles, and Karpata. Sorry for the late reply, I don’t often check for comments on videos because I don’t post enough to expect much of a response. The reaction here is very encouraging however. Be sure to let me know what your favorites are!

Amazing video! I was there for a week in July '22 and for 2 weeks in November. Hoping to go back two to three times this year. What gear (camera and what power light) did you use.

GoPro Hero 10 with 2 inexpensive lights, plus my dive light for night dives. Mostly shot in 4k 60 fps. Here’s an old picture of it. Same rig now but with an upgraded GoPro and slightly extended arms for the lights. i.imgur.com/HbTRHQK.jpg

@@srshearer Do the lights help the colour at depth? I'm not sure if my old Hero3 just cant compete. the colours and quality of your video is amazing.

@@srshearer OK, this is super annoying... you shot this stuff with a GoPRO!??? Is there something with version 10 that is allowing it to white balance so nicely when using ambient light? How much color grading are you doing here? Pretty darn good results you are getting... and nice control of the camera, too... You are obviously skilled.

What wreck site is that? Which dive shop did you dive with? Amazing video!

Thanks! That is the Hilma Hooker. It was purposely sunk to create an artificial reef, then it was pushed onto its side by a couple of big storms. This makes it slightly dangerous to do penetration dives because many divers become disoriented.
