Very inspirational. You are very talented,and very generous also,to show us mere mortals how you do it.

Cheers dude I appreciate it. It's just a matter of practice and learning from mistakes to be honest. I don't post the ones that go wrong! ;)

Very nice paint job. They have a nice 'dead flesh' look, and interesting painting techniques. Brilliant work!

I personally like the darker paint jobs myself. Gives them a more leathery look, almost as if these died in a hotter climate. Kinda like a desert zombie.

Thanks! Yeah they came out OK too ;)

Very good! I have followed the series on the zombie, and it turned out great. I have painted more than my fair share of zombies in 1/6 scale, and I did it in a similar fashion, but with some research on the topic (not for people who just had lunch, mind you), and dead bodies tend to stay pretty close to the skin tone they had when they lived - a little more wooden, yellow and black is never wrong when painting really old zombies actually, but green is quite unusual. But for effect, that's quite effective.
@thedarkpower7 жыл бұрын
+Kojak0 thanks for watching. Yeah it's been fun to experiment with some different paint schemes.

thanks for sharing! you said you wanted to put a red nose on the clown zombie, what do you think about using some silicone, the one to seal bathroom stuff, and use it to make the Red nose hanging as if the rotten nose partially fell? you could then paint the silicone to achieve a clotted Blood effect! have a good day!
@sailenthotcarathot85407 жыл бұрын
That is actually a fantastic idea!
@thedarkpower7 жыл бұрын
+DoctorDrew that's a great idea - you can actually mix oil paints into the bathroom silicon to colour it. I used that to make some gore for a zombie costume a while back.

Wow, wonderful job, you're so talented! I'm gonna watch all of your videos at once cause I just discovered your channel :D I think the one with the real eyes is the best. Maybe you try to paint one of the zombies' eyes. I think it would effect the emotion. I've been into sculpting for a couple of years but couldn't make smth realistic. Just a sculpture of Edgar Allan Poe. I dunno if it counts cause his face has caricaturistic features anyway :D After I watch your videos, I'll try to make a realistic one :)

+MahmurLemur hi. Thanks very much, yes realistic eyes really help!

Great work!! Do you now the names of the paint colors you used ?
@thedarkpower4 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I don't remember the specific colours but I used Tamiya for the details and oil washes.
@rodlrfilmmakercreator14606 жыл бұрын
Can you tell me the numbers of the color that you used?

Thanks! The bust was a rough sketch for this steampunk mask kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZouQXqaoZ6ecmas There's also a sculpture of Pinhead from Hellraiser back there too.

+Time Waster Digital Thanks I appreciate it, I wish I could charge that much! ;) alot of work goes in but you can pour copies easily enough once you have your mould done so you can make back the investment. They'll be available for the foreseeable future so will still be available in a month or so.

amazing work mr Dark Power :) I have 1 question .. do you put anything on top of the paint in order to protect it from rubing out and such ?
@thedarkpower7 жыл бұрын
+panayiotis panayiotis Thanks. Yes sometimes I'll give them a coat of spray varnish, however the Tamiya paints I'm using are really good and don't come off so it's not always necessary.
@poushkias7 жыл бұрын
mm ok thank you for the info :) and also thanks for replying so quickly! usualy I have a playlist named wating for reply and I add videos that I aske questions about them but with you I didn't even manage to add it yet :P anyway. keep up the good work :)

I love! Can I give you an idea? It occurs to me to put silicon in the mouth so that it is like dripping when it dries and then to be painted like the blood that was dripping it would give a very good effect

@connerruss60127 жыл бұрын
The Dark Power; I was thinking that 200-300 would be a good start for the price of your zombie sculptures.
