i have a question.. what did you do to get the starting model for the clothes? because you don’t really say how they appeared 😅 i’m very new to this so i just really have no idea😞

Hey, this is a part of a videos series. So these clothing base objects were created earlier in the series

My model is splitting down the center when I try smoothing it or adding clay strips. Any ideas why and how to make it stop?? I have clipping and the mirror modifier on.

If you're sculpting with dynamic toplogy the model should be whole. So create a duplicate as a backup and then apply all the modifiers before sculpting

@@StudioKavod Thank you for such a quick reply, especially on such an old video! You're a hero. lol Which modifiers are those again?
@StudioKavod3 жыл бұрын
@@OurLastStandFullXP you'll want to apply the effects of the existing mirror modifier by clicking the drop down arrow on the modifier and hitting apply. Then you can sculpt

@@StudioKavod I just went back to my backup base, and realized I added the modifiers, but forgot to apply them... Oops. Thanks!

how would you recommend modeling if your character is wearing a dress?
@StudioKavod4 жыл бұрын
For a dress, I'd recommend sculpting the entire body and then modeling a dress over them.
