It would help the mould clean up somewhat if you sprayed a light coating of Acrylic Clear lacquer, before layup of the silicone, this helps release the silicone clean from the clay.

They should make a school attachment for modern sculpture science. How to mold in different materials. Glass. Concrete. Metals. And what not including electroplateing metals. So much more. I think it would be cool to make a soft rubber cast around a robot armature that can be roboticly moved...mimicing a person with a bodysuit with sensors. So that casts can be made from that in many poses
