Farewell to all the suffering under the Qi Manor, Farewell to Qi-qe and Farewell to Xiao Jiu who had so much hope and wishes for his salvation from his Qi-qe. 1:27 LETS GO SHENJUI FIGHT! 1:39 "This place have no true love." "No true love?" The only real love SJ knew was from Qi-qe but because Qi-qe is not next to him anymore, there is no love... right? 1:43 "Wishing to take away his last dance" - "Wishing QJL just to die (by SJ hands)" 😭😭😭 the part that really push me to make this as a sqq animatic is 1:49 till the end of the song 😭😭😭 Cuz my brain is like "BISH I CANT BELIEVE QHT DIDNT SEE ALL THEM ABUSE HE GOT FROM HER BRO?!" 1:55 "yes, this is our only fate" YQY and SJ was just really sad in the PIDW, sometimes i wonder if they just actually talk to each other about their past, i wonder if it would have change? (Well sj did ask him why he left him but yqy pissess me off that he wont even say a thing, sj deserved to know after waiting all that time just not to be saved.) 2:05 "Im cutting off the velvet rope". In the ORIGINAL MV/ FULL SONG, the first chorus actually says first "pls someone cut the velvet rope" pleading someone to take hER away to this "LOVE" she is force to be under but when she realises that no one can be save or save her,s he decides that shell save her self by "CUTTING THE VELVET ROPE" I think this fit well a lot with SJ past. He waited for Qi-qe not knowing when he will come back but when push comes to shove which is him getting married to the QUI fam and all the abuse, SJ escape their supposed VELVET ROPE. 2:15 "No longer is the velvet rope" three things in my heart symbolize this part. 1 is the velvet rope that the Qui fam was going to give him (which is full of bull shit love and abuse) 2 is Yi-Qe promise of saving him from that velvet rope of the Qui (which doesn't exist anymore cuz SJ cut it himself) or Qi-qe himself, the brother that cared for SJ is forever gone. But 3rd would be the sad symbolism for my heart is that SJ doesn't know what is a velvet rope anymore. Velvet Rope is a symbolism to letting someone in their love and happiness and will not get hurt when getting in the velvet rope. So when SJ cut the velvet rope, he doesn't know how to let people get in his velvet rope nor be in ones velvet rope. *(cuz in my heart I believe the moment SJ realised Qi-qe didnt save him, he thought he is never worth to be loved in the first place)* *Ok ama cry now 😭* *ALSO PLS LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK IN THE COMMENTS! 0:08 Love the transition from LBH dropping Qi-ge's broken sword shards in front of SJ, his eyes opening wide in horror and disbelief to a look in SJ's past. I'm literally loving it from the very beginning 🥺 0:28 "For he knows, that no one will be saving him at all" " so he chose ... Accepting all the things he supposed to get" These line fits SJ so well 🥹, he knew he was stuck there waiting for YQY to come and no one's gonna save him, not his Qi-ge who's gone for who knows how long, neither QHT who is just a innocent flower and will never become aware of her brother's misdeeds because both SJ and QJL will protect her from the truth (SJ because he does not want to darken his only light and solace in this hell hole :'( & QJL because he is a sadistic pedo creep who also happens to have a sister complex). So he just accepts all the abuse from QJL and waits (⁠╥⁠﹏⁠╥⁠). [Edit: now that I think abt it more, it's even more amazing how even the little details of this line just fits. For example the use of the word 'chose', it shows how SJ technically was capable of escaping on his own, he was smart and strong enough that if he did give it his all he could have definitely escaped but he chose not to, he chose to wait instead with that small glimmer of hope in his heart for YQY to return for him. He could have always survived on those streets alone, he was smarter than YQY and could also be cruel and selfish when required for his own survival, unlike YQY, who was equally kind to everyone. But still at the end of it all, SJ was just a kid and more than wanting to survive what he probably wanted to be loved like every kid his age & YQY was probably the only person that gave him that feeling of being loved and so he was willing to cling to that hope and wait Also the line 'supposed to get'. SJ always thought of himself as a bad person, this sentiment was probably further solidified during the time he spent with YQY. Compared to YQY who seemed so naturally good hearted and selfless and kind he probably thought even more of himself as the opposite, and that's why he thought that 'he was supposed' to suffer. At least that's what I picked up on, there are probably a lot of other takes on SJ's past and personality and I'm always amazed to see them] I really just want to write and gush about every single thing in this video, I love it so much! The song you chose also fits so well!!! But I'm afraid it will become too long and annoying :') . But really, I have probably watched this video 5 times already and now I'm pausing every scene cause I still can't get enough (⁠≧ ≦⁠)

I'll continue here so as not to make that comment too lengthy 😅 I especially wanna mention how much I LOVE how you drew each and every expression and scene. And I love your art style! 0:36 I feel chills seeing QJL's expression going from expressionless to smiling. 0:39 I love this scene, it feels like I'm reading SJ's thoughts. QHT is over there looking so happy just being excited in SJ's company, while SJ just wants to wake up and wants it to be a bad dream. He can't even feel comforted in QHT's company cause he constantly feels the eyes of his abuser on him. Probably thinking up ways to make this game even more exciting growing more and more suffocating and disgusting by the second. 0:47 And this is where he breaks 😭 ( I know I said in my original comment how SJ could escape if he actually tried, I mean YQY managed to, so he probably can as well. But that's the thing, it's already too late. Maybe in the beginning if he tried he might have succeeded but now he has caught the attention of both the Qiu siblings and constantly has to be in their presence so it's just not that easy. Not to mention he is considerably weaker, both mentally and physically after constant abuse from QJL and also losing hope that YQY will ever come) So here, when after QJL's comment he realises that he's going to be stuck there forever , that SJ won't ever become boring to QJL and he's never going to leave him alone, it probably breaks something in him. 0:51 And in the next scene only, I presume they propose that SJ become QHT's fiance and this further proves that QJL has absolutely no intention of letting him go. (I'm sorry if I got that wrong I'm only speculating ;;)

1:02 and oh God this scene hurts so much (⁠༎ຶ⁠ ⁠෴⁠ ⁠༎ຶ⁠) YQY is already too late, SJ can't wait anymore (It was genius of you show it like that!) 1:06 and I know it was mentioned in the novel that SJ used to hide in QHT's room to escape but this is the first time I have seen someone include this 🥺💖💖💖 1:08 And once again I'm absolutely blown away by how details you put in every scene! 1:10 SJ's actual fear showing in his eyes for once, 1:13 him realising that it was only entertainment for them. 1:15 That monster was laughing the whole time, relishing in his pain. 1:20 Knowing that YQY won't come anymore, and grabbing the sword (1:16 the way they reflected his eyes at that moment 🥺💕) and finally cutting his enemy himself. 1:36 The way that QJL is still laughing and smug maybe confident that SJ won't be able to escape his fate or amused that he actually tried to? But SJ knows, he now knows that love did not exist in the first place, so he's got nothing holding him back anymore. Nor with YQY who kept him tied to this place till now and neither with QHT who will keep him tied up in this place for the future that is to come. 1:51 And the moment when QHT witnessed the scene and SJ lost one of the people he had loved (also I love how perfectly the lyrics fit QHT) transitioning to 1:58 the moment he lost another person he loved (YQY) again is just so heartbreaking (⁠´⁠°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥⁠ω⁠°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥⁠｀⁠) 2:02 2:07 The first moment he broke the red thread was when he left QHT there. 2:08 2:11 He finally became free and the next 2:13 2:16 was when he met YQY, he had already broken that thread and it'll never be mend again. (Note that the love I'm referring to can be interpreted as both platonic or romantic, it totally depends on you. For me personally I interpret it as platonic in both cases 😅)

He waited for Qi-qe not knowing when he will come back but when push comes to shove which is him getting married to the QUI fam and all the abuse, SJ escape their supposed VELVET ROPE. 2:15 "No longer is the velvelt rope" three things in my heart symbolise this part. 1 is the velvet rope that the Qui fam was going to give him (which is full of bull shit love and abuse) 2 is Yi-Qe promise of saving him from that velvet rope of the Qui (which doesnt exist anymore cuz SJ cut it himself) But 3rd would be the sad symbolism for my heart is that SJ doesnt know what is a velvet rope anymore. Velvet Rope is a symbolism to letting someone in their love and hapiness and will not get hurt when getting in the velvet rope. So when SJ cut the velvet rope, he doesnt know how to let people get in his velvet rope nor be in ones velvet rope. Ok ama cry now 😭

@@MDA3STAR yes the "foolish hooligan" hit the bullseye with qiu haitang!i love every frame honestly! i'm also aware how a velvet rope symbolizes a 'love connection' and i was thinking it had to do with yqy. i didn't see it could also be his betrothal to qiu haitang but you're absolutely right about that!!! ahhHHh yqy not explaining stuff to shen jiu truly did seal their tragic fate...gah. i read this fanfic called "metagaming" by esama where yqy kind of explained to SQQ (shen yuan) why he can't say more and i believe it's accurate. lemme go grab the exerpt: "I'm sorry," Yue Qingyuan murmurs. Oh wow, the last scene with his smiling, i can feel a shot to my heart. I havent read svss so im curious what really happen to shen jiu. Did he died? Did he reincarnate or go to another world? Or did he quietly dissappear into the breeze, with no one knowing or noticing except by the transmigrators, and never be mention again as his job is done in the narrative.

Plus, i would really wish he finds peace but sometimes i feel he kinda got cheated by the narrative cuz in the end of the day he crawled his way up to become a strong cultivator only to be replace by shenyuan 😭 The smile at the end also makes me think SJ probably felt more happier being with his QiGe even if they are a slaves cuz they are not apart and supports one another in a way 😢😢😢
