Hard to say this looking from a screen, but my impression of hector is that he still knows and appreciates this, but optic is still a business and you have to make decisions that are not easy sometimes. The simple fact is that scump brings pr, envoy doesn’t. Combined with the rumour of the dallas merger it is in the best interest of envoy to be dropped, seeing he probs want to keep competing. Now he has the ability to get that important playtime to develop. Could he have stayed as a sub/creator? Yes, probably but it would not be in his best interest.
