Scunthorpe United 2-0 Banbury United

Another game in Scunthorpe. No damp patches on the pitch for a postponement less than an hour before kick off.
Anyway Banbury down in the mire, head coach leaving and a few of the better players departing too this past week. All is not well at Banbury. Could have been a lot worse, if Scunthorpe players could get shots on target. Or the ball didn’t have a magnet in and was attracted to the crossbar or post. It was wave after wave of Scunthorpe attacks with no real end product apart from once in each half. Whitehall and Elliott the scorers. Evan’s shown a red card, 2nd of the season so potentially a 4 game ban for him. Good job Boyce was taking it easy in the Directors Box, he’ll be needed next game. Conisbrough boys getting where water doesn’t 👀🤣

For us, all about momentum with the final games to consolidate a play off place. Wins and clean sheets will help that. Warrington next on the road 👍🏼

Instant like before I've watched the video I've become a bit of a fan of this channel I find it better than most of these vlogs on here. I like the usual lads who are on here supporting there beloved team and this channel shows real working class football fans supporting there local team. Not like these who support the big teams in the prem when they have local teams in there area. Up the owls up the iron!!!!

Cheers mate. Just try and tell it as it is. As you know yourself, the team you grow up supporting is the team you’re stuck with, through the thick and thin. No where I’d rather be, than with like minded individuals following Scunny. Knowing they’re going through the same emotional turmoil at times as I am 😂😂 Helps having a very understanding wife too lol 👏🏼

So, who would you bring in then, in place of Jimmy? How would you do that? You have to remember that Scunny are nowhere near financially 'out of the woods' and sacking the head coach whilst still in contention of a play off place is unrealistic. Making a statement such as 'Jimmy Out' is silly, especially when you have not looked at the 'big picture'. It will be a result if Scunny manage to get decent players on part time contracts next season, so having a head coach who knows who to run his team lean and mean, such as Jimmy is absolutely important.

@@user-qe5zr5yi3n He has both tactical and player knowledge. He knows this league better than most. Unfortunately, Tamworth are proving to be the best team in this league. In my opinion, it is better that Scunny stick with Jimmy. The issue, I think, would be next season, because I'm not sure if the club would be in a viable position to put new players on full time contracts. So, Scunny could be a victim of their own success, providing they get promoted through the play offs. Either way, Jimmy can't win and the club can't afford to keep changing head coaches. Good luck for the remainder of the season.
