@@Elyoki it wouldn't work too well because dollhouse works with scute due to the fact that when you put down a land it creates a copy of it self. So the scute exile gets remade as a construct token. So whenever you play a land it makes more construct copies to buff itself and the other constructs that were just made. With angels you're making singular angel token but they're not copies. The only way to make it work with angels would be to add the maskwood nexus which makes EVERYTHING all/all creature types.

This might make Scute Swarm Meathook Massacre a thing. Normally, if you have enough scutes to get enough drain with meathook you're winning anyways, but like this you can deal a respectable 4-6 drain while preparing for the ultimate form of scute. The Doll Bug.

Can confirm, I only have 1 grakmaw so I added 2 Meathooks and a Cultivator Collossus. Just won with Meathook! edit: should add that it was VS Valk Harbinger life gain, he had like 6-7 8/8s and was pumping them out every single turn with the Valk that got up to 11/13 or whatever, I had 2 Innkeepers out and got up to a TON of scutes, he got me down to 4 life, andd was going to win next turn however i had a land to play a few good turns in a row. So he got me to 4 life, i got a land in hand and drew a Meathook. Played the land and got the big WARNING message over and over so I had to click resolve a 100 times, but the game didn't crash, I got the Meathook out and it popped him for 109 bahahahahaha I posted a picture on the r/MagicArena sub but they hate Scute so I'm sure the post wont gain traction, but you can go find it if ya want

@@slowstroke Increased meathook count to 4, aggro matchup is auto-loose without that. But deck works beautifully in ranked, 13/4 haste bear after boradwipe out of nowhere is priceless

The combo of Augur of autumn and ashaya is also really fun with scute swarm. You dont need to search for lands when every card on top of your deck is a land and you can play it xD

Should revisit this deck but with new cards. Threefold Thunderhulk immediately dominates the board 4 gnomes and 4 more with haste, and Ulamog is a free win (dollhouse exiles it, so it has - at least - 10 counters) for massive immediate annihilator action, plus they can't really recover since the ward on it makes it difficult to remove on very few remaining lands.

I am loving this deck, used it to climb from bottom bronze all he way to diamond with a 66% winrate. I lost a few due to misplays. Very tricky deck. Sometimes you play a bear and kill it so you can give it haste with dollhouse. I made some changes for the meta. Added a couple of boardwipes, they could swap for meathook but I have killed plainswalkers with it so... Added a field of ruin the deal with the faceless haven + book of exalted deeds cheese, our own faceless haven is tutorable with the bear and has closed out control matches for me many games. 1 eye twitch is only gonna let you access the sideboard once or maybe twice with dollhouse so not worth it unless you put more of them in but you dont need the sideboard so much for this deck since you got enough tokens and land search anyway. meathook is much better than blood on the snow cause it just gives you an extra win con if you kill your whole scute army and then the enemy loses just from the meathook

I found I was getting into a lot of situations where I needed a board wipe to survive, so I replaced one of the Grakmaws with Meathook Massacre and replaced three of the basic lands with Dig Up. Seems to solve a lot of issues! I think a good name for the deck would be "Bughouse." Describes the main combo and sort of works as a slanted reference to Bughouse chess, a chess variant where captured pieces are returned to the board (though the analogy is really only halfway there, since in Bughouse chess you bring back your opponents pieces, but I still think its good).

If you add "Iridescent Hornbeetle" to this deck it would be powerful. Hornbeetle adds a 1/1 creature token and the end of every turn for every +1/+1 added that turn.

Googled this after I had the idea last night. Legendary squirrel and saryth are incredible in this deck as well. Brontodon for 1 cost gets the bonus from land unlike other land based creatures.

I added Ashaya, soul of the wild, really multiplies the land drop triggers.. and added a little removal like Eaten alive, exiles those tough creatures and you will usually have a token skirt to sacrifice

I think that if you put 3 druid classes and reduce de innkeeper, the ghast and the 2 mana sacrifice spell quantity to 3 it should be a bit empowered and give you something more to do in those dead turns you sometimes have with this deck, apart from the extra creatures tokens from the druid class lvl 3

At one point in game 1 you swung in. One of your tokens was an 8/8 and he was blocking with a 9/9 priest. You didn't see it, but you could have simply activated dollhouse, removed the spirit of felgard from your grave and pumped the team into a clean trade. But really cool deck idea.

Have you thought of adding in 2 Ashaya and/or Ancient Greenwarden? The first making each non-token creature trigger your scutes and the second doubling those triggers.

It's a copy of scute swarm, so it also copies it's mana value

As the guy above me said, copies retain ALL attributes of the card it is copying, so the copies have mana value equal to the original. In any normal case of a token being made such as with Adeline or Lolth, you would be correct, but this is a slightly different case unfortunately. This is popular in devotion decks if you’d like to see more examples of such an interaction and it’s applicable uses.

Scute swarm plus dollhouse in this deck is just doing what skeletal swarming did by itself. Unless you actually trigger landfall a lot more it's actually pointless. Plus boardwipes still reset the board and make finding new Scute swarms necessary. So I doubt anything about this is actually broken. Btw I think the new dig up card is a pretty good card for golgari decks, especially for the jank lord.

it would fit this deck pretty well as well, gets you lands and scuteswarms when you need them. Dig up is a card that should go up in price tremendously. It is both good in commander and in standard it just needs to find a deck. I can even see dig up in modern.

Why would you exile Grakmaw from your graveyard to create a token then play a Grakmaw and kill the token instead of keeping it and sending the non-token Grakmaw to your graveyard and having it to be used later.

how about adding the elf that reduces life by the same amount of creatures with the same type. So you have a ton of scute swarms and play that and kill it with still. Also a little Jund action there's a red giant that does damage for the same amount of creatures with the same type. So you can play it, kill it and make it comeback as a construct so it's more damage.
