SCX24 Crawler Course - The Summit (Part 1 of 2)

Welcome to my Crawler Course Series!
Today starts the 1st of 8 obstacles for my new custom 24th scale crawler course! This is part 1 of 2 for "The Summit" obstacle! In this video I share my design thoughts and start sculpting the obstacle foundation! Its amazing watching something start to form from only an idea!
I am having so much fun with this project, I cant wait to show you all the final result of this 1st obstacle and also to continue the rest of this completely awesome course!

You can mix some plaster of Paris to paint consistency & paint the cloth to help fill the holes in the plaster cloth

Yeah taking shape dude, been wanting to build me some thing but didn’t really know how to go about it, appreciate your sharing. Now I would cut me a square hole in the front facing and turn that mountain also into a garage it would be a rock garage yeah just a thought 👍👍😎

You could also just cut a square hole and that front side and can be a parking garage

You could cut a hole on both ends through the center of the box for a tunnel

Just got back into the hobby. Now I wish I would have gotten a micro instead of a 1/10. I’ve put so much money into my 1/10 and it’s -3 so I can’t even use it 😢

This course and its names are just made up and not trying to reflect or replicate anything real! Its just the name that I came up with based on my personal build! Thanks for checking it out!

thats looking amazing 👍 I bet you wish you added a tunnel through the middle🤔 saves material and gives trail options. I've made and tossed a few of these and hindsight always kills me😡 I look forward to seeing where this one goes
