My old man was so stoked on the Betty for Xmas. I was really impressed right out of the box comparing the other trucks my bro and I own. I put a scale Blower off of Muscle Machines toy car I ripped apart through the body mount hole. It looks sick with it popping out of the hood! I ordered myself one too 😂. Great job with the winch!

Hey Man, you mentioned making a 4-link setup. I've been experimenting with all sorts of different materials and found these to be the easiest and best to use. They're called standoffs, or spacers. See web link. You can make your suspension rods any length you want, and they're already pre-threaded. You'll still need some 2mm all-threaded rod, but the pieces used don't have to be accurately cut. Let's say you need a link-rod 46mm long not counting the rod ends. Use two 18mm and one 10mm, and viola', A 46mm rod already threaded! (To connect 3 pieces and have threads at both ends, screw the 10mm (male end) into an 18mm female end. Then cut a piece of threaded rod long enough to attach the female end of the 10mm to the female end of the second 18mm. You'll have a rod that is 46mm long and has 3mm of male threads at each end to thread into your rod ends. I wish I could post pics so you could see what I mean. Anyway, they can be purchased in either a hex shape or my preference, the round shape. Here's a link to the set I bought. www.amazon.com/Electronics-Salon-Brass-Male-Female-Standoff-Assortment/dp/B014KK2MGK Also, I use M2 rod ends. They're WAY better than the M1.4 ones that come stock. Articulation will increase and all binding will be eliminated. They come in both black plastic and several colors of aluminum.

Hey, I’m hopefully getting my C10 scx24 in the mail today and I’m already way in over my head in thoughts on what to do to it. I’m a beginner in this hobby so I need some advice and I really enjoyed your videos on it. I want to install new wheels and possibly new shocks, what would you recommend?
@2fmrc4 жыл бұрын
Well I have 2 c10s. One of each color. The grey one I use for more performance. The green one I built mostly for looks lol. On my grey C10 I like the old man emu shocks with no springs in them. I didn’t build either of my C10s to be massive flex rigs that will sleigh anything but I did build it to maintain the look for the most part but still be able to hang with most. I’m running the rc4wd stamped steel wheels on mine with some full send weights. Most wheels at the moment are hard to come by so I’d just find a set that you can get and actually like. I almost always move my shocks down to the chassis rails for a little more belly clearance. I have a C10 mods video if you get a chance check it out. Another thing I always do to a stock truck is glue the servo saver so the servo will actually work lol. Let me know if I can help with anything else and welcome to the hobby! Always love hearing new people joining!!

I run the same setup on my c10 #rccrawlingcrab I find that the servo when fluttering it’s also moving the horn, tangled wire, do you know of a way to fix that?
@2fmrc4 жыл бұрын
It’s normally just a sign of a servo that don’t center well. Cheap servos have that issue quite a bit. It can sometimes be adjusted through the expo or end point adjustment on a better transmitter. These stock transmitters don’t have that adjustment so it’s hard to do anything with it from my experience.
