Jacob Morris-Austin Yeah, but Cynthia felt more like a "geniune" champion. When you fight Red, you don't have to fight Elite Four members, you don't fight in a fancy are like every other Elite Four challenge in the Pokemon games. Red just didn't feel like an official Champion(in my opinion)compared to the Champion in Gen 1, 2(Johto Champion), 3, 4, and so on. All you do is climb up an empty mountain, and walk up to Red and fight him.
