UPDATE! We think we figured it out! This Scimitar interaction seems to work because I accidentally made Maul weakest ship. The second I took mods off Grand Inquisitor the Profundity goes for Scythe! So try your best to strip down Maul as much as possible or Relic 8 Grand Inquisitor like mine is. Heres the scenario. It gets worse the more Relics you have on Maul more speicifcally above relic 4. Scimitar is pretty beefy. Which puts your scythe out as the "weakest ship". Scimitar: ~130k HP/Prot with a relic 4 maul Scythe: ~115k HP/Prot with BOTH pilots r7. With the Scythes unqiue, empire allies (not scimitar) gain 20% bonus hp, which puts Scythe, for me atleast, still 3k hp/prot less than scimitar Exact numbers Scimitar : R4 Maul, 5x5* mods, 1x6* mod Total HP/Prot - 133, 437 Scythe: 2xR7 full 6* mods (12 total) Total HP/Prot with 20%HP boost from scythe unique - 130,995 Solution : not many options, as stated at the top, relic lvls on Maul really mess this up. Ive stripped my Relic 4 maul of all mods COMPLETLY, this puts him at 126, 091 hp/prot. If your maul is higher than relic 4, taking your inquis pilots to r8 MIGHT help you, but even then its real close. Other option..use a different ship, Sith assassin will work, ideally g11-relic 3/4.

@@AhnaldT101 Ya 😅 impressive just on its own. I believe Maul had a relic 4 requirement somewhere, If Im not mistaken. So the only way to really make this work assuming someone already has him relic 4, is not to relic him any more, but also REQUIRES you either remove his mods OR r8 one of, if not both the Scythe pilots. You could theroetically make this work with another Sith / Empire ally that comes in weaker than scythe. Sith fighter (sith assassin pilot) seems to be the best candidate. Not sure where the relic threshold for her is to become tankier than scythe (if there is one). Mines g12, but even at relic 3 she comes in at just shy of 118k hp/prot. Which is 12k hp/prot less then a decked out scythe.

I liked your video, except in the start (around 3:18) you ability-blocked Rebel Y-wing with Executrix’ AoE. Imho it would be better to let Y-wing waste that shield-disruption on that summoned TIE rather than on the TIE Bomber you called in later on.

Great video! Personally I pefer not using the Executrix AoE ability block turn 1, since I don't want the Y-wing to be ability blocked--I think it would be better to have the Y wing waste its protection disruption special on a marked summoned TIE or the throwaway scimitar, that way your bomber doesn't get hit with it. Probably not necessary since the bomber is tanky but it's just extra assurance, esp cuz in the first vs profundity clip the bomber almost died, and with perfect assist/crit RNG and high relic enemy pilots, it might have gotten blown away before the palpmobile showed up

@Ahnaldt101 I think you should note for people watching VS Exec. An R9 (194 speed) piett will outrun r7 (192 speed) Vader and potentially delete vader before your Bomber taunts. It also matches speeds with an r8 vader (both 194 speed) which makes it a coin flip. This has the potential to flop very quickly with r7/8 Vader vs r9 Piett and bad rng. If your boss a$$ mofo you can just r9 Vader and ALWAYS outrun Piett with a 197 speed Tie Advanced lol. Anyways, just a psa for people looking into Exec counters.

unrelated, but something I wanted to share, thanks to you opening my eyes as to how good SLKR is I am now firstly able to consistently get minimum gold chest from galactic challenges, I am now able to win proving grounds battles, I am still bad at grand arena, AND conquest is still the biggest chore a game has ever presented me with! jokes aside, SLKR (particularly with ultimate) is so amazing and I feel so empowered with that team

If your opponent has a full FO fleet and you check their gac history and they use it as a counter - you should place Exec with Cad, IG2000, RC to start. Shuts that counter down. Bossk, Bobba as reinforce. If they dont, the Bossk in place of IG2000 works more consistently I believe.

I really don't think saving Interceptor and Vader is a big deal. Interceptor is real nice for those who don't have it (but the number of people who have Scythe but not Interceptor is slim). But the main advantage for saving them is to hopefully have another fleet, I just don't think there's enough Empire ships for a second fleet. TIE bomber is huge for both Empire fleets but there's only one of him, and so if u use bomber here, you can't use it there. So your second fleet will consist of 2 hard hitting but flimsy ships plus maybe Palpatine or TIE fighter. Imo right now, until we get more Empire ships, it's not worth trying to save them.

I mean, you could run Vader, Sith Bomber and Reaper starting under Thrawn, with Interceptor, Gauntlet and Sith Fighter. Int still gets her bonus (Empire + Sith allies). This isnt gonna work against every fleet. But it is a nother team

how would you recomend splitting the empire ships then? currently my go to chimaera fleet is opening with TIE fighter, TIE Bomber and TIE advance, with Interceptor and Palp shuttle as the main reinforcements. originally was considering swapping TIE fighter with Sith bomber, but if the Scythe fleet needs Bomber then I don't know what else to throw in with the Thrawn fleet for its starting line up, and now its reinforcements

If your refering to GAC. Save all your empire and sith, and adjust accordingly for what they have on Defense. Exec - TFP, Vader,Bomber, Scythe, Interceptor, (usually enough, but mad sketchy vs r9 exec, unless your vader is r9 and a coin toss vs r8 exec). Probobly better off using FO if possible and/or profundity is also on defense. Profundity - basically this video, but if your Maul is relic 4+ and your scythe pilots are only r7 then scythe will be the target and it may fall apart. You can use sith fighter ideally g11-relic 3 in scimitars place. I would suggest using this lineup, and having a Thrawn lead with Sith Bomber, Gauntlet, Vader, Interceptor, Reaper etc. Not a meta fleet by any stretch but definatly strong and usable. Possibly even usable vs a negotiator (havent tested this).

@@Cyberghost2461 I am pretty confident in my Finalizer for exec, both standard and even triple attacker, so mostly looking at profundity and other fleets. Currently my main use for Thrawn with TIE advance, fighter, bomber, interceptor and the shuttle was Negotiator, so as long as its replacement can handle that I will do fine. Might be in a predicament though, my Darth maul is only R4, and painfully my Sith Assassin is actually R5, so I do not know if that makes her too strong. was wondering about putting it on defence too along side Profundity and exec, if the team is smart enough to be on defence or if its like finalizer where it isn't doing much unless its attacking

This does not work. 4/4 times they have gone after scythe and ignored scimitar. Either it was patched or there is something else like a GP check that has them going after your scimitar. My maul is r4 with zeta but doesn't have 6* mods on.

That is really weird. My Maul is the same as yours and it has always gone after Scimitar. At least 20-30 battles tested this way and 100% of the time that happens for me.

Personally I think its kinda shitty CG would have us farm an R9 Raddus and go through all the stuff for a capital ship, only to then release a conquest ship that just nullifies the capital ship. It would have been less resource intensive and better for me overall to just relic 7 the inquisitors and focus this conquest character rather than go after profundity...

Dont place it on defense? Its an amazing fleet. I mean, FO and Malevolance can counter some Exec lineups. Also this has only been out for a couple days, we might see some "anti-empire" profindity fleets pop up, just like the IG2000 Exec fleet shutting down FO 1-shots.

@@Cyberghost2461 I don't ever place either Exec or Profundity on Def these days. Since there is no "meta" fleet and there are off counters for both it makes little sense. With Scythe out there, it now makes a little more sense for those who have him to place this Tarkin fleet and Profundity/Exec on defense as this Tarkin fleet should hold against a Negotiator/Mal fleet. Either way, just pissed off that I decided to gear up for Profundity and use those resources for that capital ship rather than gear up 5 toons to R5 and get GI. Yes, inquisitors suck but the Scythe is bad @ss, and at least the Inquisitors are needed for ROTE. I would have been doing myself and my guild a favor by getting them vs. Profundity.

I'd rather spend the $100 it would cost me to whale on it towards gear and relics for Inq's so I can help get Reva faster, get another team for GAC attack and actually use the Scythe when I get GI in June...

Thrawn should be 21 speed slower than Armorer so that he goes right after she takes a turn to give SEE the 3 stacks of Beskar. The other 2 slots need to be tanks who can take hits. I like GBA since he brings 2 characters with a respawnable tank and Sith Trooper as the other tank.

Also since datacrons exist your reason for failing can be related to it. Try aiming for stats with durability.

Don't worry. Profundity is really strong on offense, you can easily take out Exec with it - so you have a consistent counter for that. But even if you set it on D, it's highly unlikely that your enemy will have both Scythe and the Grand Inquisitor unlocked under 7m GP. Even then probably not

TIE Bomber is an incredibly powerful reinforcement vs Profundity. Basically guarantees the win. You can use TIE Bomber to start but does not feel as consistent as the reinforcement.
