Onto the Medieval age! These transitions between the games are always the most exciting, and I'm very cautious to see what you do between them. Especially between Imperator and Crusader Kings, which is a very large amount of time compared to the other games, so there's tons of room to alter and change things as you so wish. Either way, very curious what comes next, and I'll definitely be here for the next one. Keep up the great work Sargent! :)

Thanks for the high praise! It always means a lot to me that you guys appreciate these videos so much. This transition is going to be particularly interesting, and the ideas I have to handle the intervening centuries are especially fun- in fact, I'm already getting ahead of myself and working on that script, lol.

this was fucking awesome. Forgot to comment for the algorithm. 24:20 what a face. Appropriately unhinged. also congrats to Rath for finally getting his poseidon

Thank you man- I appreciate it! This video took a hell of a lot of work, but in the end it seems to be all the better for it. Also, Uppal really does have that *crazed* look I was hoping for. Finally, Rathnacuda can rest well knowing that his greatness matched his madness, that his ambition met his potential and came together to create a ruler whose peculiar personage changes the course of a people's history forever.

Ok like I just realize you have a super low view and sub count. Like what the heck it’s crazy. Your content is great and very high quality. How can you even afford such high quality videos with such low view quality.

The great ones always get little attention. But take solace that we have a more tight knit community feeling.

Thank you so much! I'm glad you like what I make here- at the end of the day, I do it because I like it, and the fact that I have any audience at all is mind-blowing to me. I appreciate each and every one of you guys!

The community is always something I've loved about the channel- seeing the same faces comment on the videos and talk in the discord is a great feeling- it's honestly surreal that the stories I tell have so many people who look forward to them.

How much of the mega campaigns are actually being played compared to how much is a pre-written story, I would assume there's some events that are dictated by the game but also there's a lot of things especially on our main nations of the campaign that are just impossible within the Paradox game

This is an interesting question, and one I've gotten a lot over the years. It's complicated, but put as simply as possible, here's how I make my videos- I sit down and play a genuine grand campaign, writing the story as I go as things happen. In earlier seasons, I was almost entirely hands-off, extremely reticent to alter anything in an artificial manner. I would only take creative liberties when I was forced to explain AI behavior that made little to no sense at all. However, due to popular demand later on, I would end up getting more involved via console command in specific situations. The main drive for this was for me to deal with all the horrific bordergore that would inevitably pile up over the centuries, but I also fix errors and mistakes made during conversions, and prep the maps for conversion, by filling in empty space, for example. So I'm still letting the game steer the ship, and within that game I am weaving a story that I hope is complex and engaging. I hope this helps- let me know if you have any more questions!

You've got a good eye- it was so extremely subtle I was worried people wouldn't catch it, lol.

How did I know Scythia would eventually take all the lands in the Caucuses at the expense of their friendship with Armenia? RIP (W)Rath, you did good, but damn you could have made your succession line a bit clearer.

Mad kings gonna mad king- at least his madness was generally oriented towards Scythia's benefit- at least while he lived, lol.

Glad to hear it! I meant to get this up last week, but I think it was worth the extra time.
