People complained about Digimon Survive being a visual novel as if Super Robot Wars isn't like a visual novel too

@@fishpop hey I enjoyed DBZ XV 1 and 2, yes DBZ kakarot was better IMO but they all in all are similar and great for that fan base. I hope these games allow for Gundam fans new and old to get excited and revisit and re live classic moments. Playing the demo on ps5 I was like "this is fun enough" to my best friend who already pre ordered the game, and was convincing me to get it.

bruh SD capsule fighter is still the best Gundam PvP game that has ever existed. i love the Vs series but SDGO was the best imo. on the other hand i think the lack of a english dub will hurt the in game dialogue. it will be hard to read what people say and focus on the game mechanics. assuming it gets harder and more deep the further you go into the game. and finally i hope we can shut off motion blur. its turned up to 100 in this game my god.

I just happened along this video and basically everything like the references to other gundam series and the whole teebag thing was my exact reaction to the demo. Have you watched any of the briefing scenes? They have more info on the characters in the game and even gives a more indepth intro to each series in question: worth the watch in my opinion but shame it’s hidden in a library menu. Great review overall! From a fellow battle alliance maniac.

DB Xenoverse: Gundam Edition... as far as 'plot device' goes. Can't say I'm a fan of the whole 'time fuckery' gimmick being used to excuse mash ups but since there probably isn't a better option, eh... Whatever, it works. Upside is the gameplay looks really solid in this one.

I'm personally a fan of the SRW and early G Generation gimmick where all these different series all belong to the same world, leaves cool room for storytelling. But given how huge Gundam has gotten since then I can see how that's way harder now

Not trying to start shit. I want to get fully invested into gundam but how well does the GM stand up to barbatos. Minus the Pilots, just the mechs head to Head.

Judging from the Nanolaminate armor Barbatos has, most of the weapons a GM has wont do much damage to Barbatos in the time it would take for Barbatos to get close enough to use any of the melee weapons it has. Especially if its a Barbatos with its limiter released. Although if the GM can keep Barbatos at a distance and constantly hit it with rockets or use non beam weapons capable of melting Barbatos' armor then there's a chance for the GM to win the fight

@@doomedgundam6684 The Guncannon is mostly ballistic from what I've read (I may be wrong but let's just say it is) so theoretically a squadron of Guncannons can prolly kill Barbatos if it is hit enough times, Hell if the Guncannon replaced one or both of its shoulder cannons with a Dainsleif then Barbatos is good as dead if they nuke it from space

Also beam weapons aren't very consistent power wise throughout the different timelines. For example the Unicorns beam magnum would probably cook the pilot inside of Barbatos or even pierce through its armor since the nanolaminate armor would probably not be able to handle the intense heat of the beam because in reality its just fancy paint. But all in all its pretty hard to determine just what can and cannot go through the armor used in IBO when comparing the weapons from other gundam series.

Tried the demo on the Switch. I am not recommending this game on the Switch, if you want to play the game, play it on more capable hardware. The graphics are so blurry, it gives you that Switch Apex Legends vibes of “why does this exists on this platform”.

I played the demo today & it's dead to me for not being dubbed in English & not being able to pause the game. Seriously I tried to pause & then went to my console's home screen which usually pauses games & I came back to being killed by the Iron Orphan gundam.
