The prime mover sounds like the NS high hood SD40-2.

Nice video I have not been to Buffalo in about 22 years live near Selkirk New York they are using switch men with remote control backpacks for all the yard work what a shame

I'm really surprised it's a two man crew not a conductor and a remote control locomotive. For as long as I can remember buffalo was a remote and a slug, with a switcher in use as well, guess it's changed. Good video.

They still use remote control, just not in this video. Thank you!

Why are there air hoses hooked up to the cars
@bathursttrainspotting3 жыл бұрын
They’re used to save time basically

WHAT WAS THE YELLOW HOSE FOR
@americanrails8 жыл бұрын
That's an air line used to air up the train without a locomotive.

Anyone know what the stick is the conductor is holding? Conductors never had that when I was working on the railroad.

Brake stick. Put on and take off brakes without climbing on cars.
