MG4 XPower Test Drive POV

One Pedal Drive only works with charge state I think 80% (maybe 90%) or lower as it requires recuperation to work. Will get my XPOWER on Friday … Unfortunately the car does not remember most individual settings for the next ride - still room for improvement for MG with the Software.

I love it although still some SW issues but I can live with that hoping for Updates. What needs to be resolved is the vibrations in the steering wheel when not in all wheel drive mode. Might be just the tires or needs to be resolved with add. damper - afaik MG is already on it anyways.

Great so far thanks @@Greatdane-qf8kd - Car is very quick and very planted on the road with the AWD, Great traction in all weather, A good balance of comfort and ride with the the stiffened susension IMHO. There are some minor issues such as software glitches etc. and nanny state safety features which have to be turned off every trip (such as Lane Keep Assist) but I guess this is the same with all new cars now to get 5 EURO NCAP stars.

You need to activate Traffic Jam Assist (TJA) in MG Pilot for auto steer. You'll see a white/green steering wheel icon with blue bars down the side of the road on the left side of the driver display when it's active.

The message you get as to why the one pedal doesn't come on is a bit cryptic but essentially it doesn't work till you are under 80% battery and you can turn it on when you're driving no probs. I really like the one pedal driving, hardly ever use the brakes :)

You have made Sevals faults, ONE pedel can NOT be changed while driving. also to lane assisten you need to activate TJA function for it to run center..

Maybe you should also consider doing the review and test drive in the same video..because I watch the channel everyday sometimes I forget to watch the other video since review and test drive drop at different times

Am crezut ca doar pe mine ma "zgarie pe creier" :)), @Dan cel mai bine intra pe google translate, scrii cuvantul "consumption" si acolo poti asculta cum se pronunta corect cuvantul. In mod normal nu ar trebui sa se auda deloc litera "U". Thanks for understanding !

The reason for getting this specially living in the north where it snows alot is the 4wd. Its the cheapest all wheel drive electric car.

What a boring test drive, you might aswell of test drove the base model. Was waiting for you to put your foot down or do a launch, disappointed!!
