Finally something for the turbos. I’ve had hell with mine seeing crazy belt temps, ruined my race at hammers. Blew 3 belts, is this kit different than the 1000 set up?

Its the same parts, aside from the transmission shaft. Steps are close to the same, but as you can see in the video, its a lot of working with the metal inner cover with the alignment tool to get it perfect.

What year turbo is this? Will the tool work on the Turbo S? How is clutch offset adjusted after this alignment is completed?

My friend had his motor replaced at a shop on his ranger xp 1000HL. When he got it back the driveshaft is hitting the frame on the bottom. Do you think this would fix his problem or is there another alignment issue that requires a different tool
@Suspensiondirect5 жыл бұрын
That sounds like a bit bigger of an issue unfortunately.

@@Suspensiondirect Thanks, we think the alignment of the transmission and engine in the frame wasn't set right. The yoke of the transmission is pointing downward to much and putting the driveshaft to close to the frame.

@@james4wd236 In theory, using the XP1000 tool, and perhaps loosening more than what we go over in the video, you can get it dialed in.

How much longer till you get flagged for copyright music! LOL. Great music, by the way...

haha! We did ask nicely for the guys to turn down the music, but we dont want to interrupt their groove while they work!
