First off great video! This has to be the first one I’ve seen that actually explains what a hemi is doing to try and achieve your idle. And I could follow along and understand! Nicely done. I have 1 question maybe not related to idle I’m not sure. To get rid of the flare on start up which tables do you adjust? These things from the factory go so high. At least mine does I want to drop it some

You're looking at 2 things. Please keep in mind that different operating systems call these different things. 1, startup airflow. Some tuners add airflow across the board, not just where the car needs it. So increases in airflow to help it idle normally, when added to startup modifiers, can equal more airflow than necessary and it causes a flare. More commonly, it's startup timing adders. When you add idle timing to stabilize the idle, it can result in startup adders holding timing too high for too long and it causes a flare.

@@ronn147 as oneBADDz stated this problem is usually from too much airflow or fuel on startup. Typically it is airflow table 35020 that has too much airflow. If you cut this one by like 20% and you still have the problem, try to reduce the startup base fuel in 34000.

Thank you for your post I have a 22 rt charger with one of SDPC stage 3 cam and I’m having that exact problem more so in park and neutral I have a few more questions like what total spark should I be running or at least a ballpark and what are some of the most important log data that I should be recording
@gordonpaden595115 күн бұрын
When you say total spark do you mean like total timing at WOT or idle?
@dman1235037 күн бұрын
At WOT. I also was wondering if you have a way to adjust for the misfire code instead of just turning it off
