Having lived all 3, CGY is the best location for a real winter (excluding bc). Not even close. Dry climate rocks. Wish the city did as well. It’s identity is it’s location and corporate cowboys.

Lol Calgary is the best weather... Also screw Calgary... Lol why are awe catching strays? People who like the city appreciate the practicality and friendliness as compared to larger Canadian cities. But yeah it's not concentrated enough to have a nightlife worth bragging about. Good place to work and raise kids.

Hello, as a European, I love following the NHL. But I don't want it to come over. We have our own leagues, the NHL would crush them financially. Our history would be lost. We can have some games or even a tournament. But please, no NHL Europe.

@@mason5722 there way the victoria cup a few years ago, CHL (not canadian hockey league) winner plays an NHL Team. they wanted the stanley cup winner, but that was probably too risky

With that being said, I yearn for seeing competitive hockey between NHL and European teams. What I would give to see something like a Hockey version of the Champions League for Soccer.

@GotFridged We have a Champions Hockey League for European teams. But we care more about our national championships. ( I am from Switzerland, and that is the most common opinion on the matter here. I can not talk for Sweden, Finland, or Germany)
