SDR Connect Follow up After Some Use.

Thank you for the vid. I have spent a few hours with this software and it is full of bugs and shortcomings. For instance the HiZ input was only available after I installed the software then it disappeared. There is no way to select antenna for Tuner 2. I could not find the way to manage VRXs and layouts. I think they need to invest more time before it will be usable.

It should remember your antenna input selection - it does here! Can you try it again?

I don't know if you ever did it, but they added IQ recording too, so now it's not just audio recording. Very handy for going back and playing through the same spectrum again later.

I was pretty sure they had that in this version, but I haven't checked that out yet. I've used it a couple times in SDRuno when something I wanted to listen to was on at the same time, in the same band but different frequencies. It is pretty nice to be able to record, then go back later and tune through it. Thanks for letting me know. I'll definitely check it out on this 2nd release. 😀

The software doesn't remember the last frequency it was on when you shut it down, that annoying. And it would be great if you could save frequencies. But, it's a preview.

I'm glad that I wasn't crazy or missed something about it not saving the frequency. Your right it is a little annoying. I'm thinking that saving the frequency, being able to load the EIBI database schedules, and some other things should be coming pretty soon. Hopefully by preview 3 or 4.

Yeah, I downloaded preview 3 the day it was released. It's getting better. Just like most things it takes time to get there. I still prefer SDRuno because I was using it before SDRplay acquired it. It was called studio One back then. I just like the way it is.
