Yeah, context adds a LOT to this execution. Before, it looks like Hibiki is the aggressive one. Now, it’s clear that Hibiki is finally standing up to her sister and seeing her for what she really is. This was already an amazing execution, but the fact that it actually changes with proper context makes it even better.

So, interesting trivia Your head can stay concious for ~20 seconds after being decapitated Hibiki could have made maybe 1 face, and that likely would have been a Suprised face, or other such horrified pain. Kanade saw her face, and made her absolutely crazy love face Kanade got exactly what she wanted, and watched Hibiki's last living moments, that despair as the last thing Hibiki could feel. Kanade may have died, but she won.

The only reason she was happy they didn’t get Setsuka’s will was because they made her lose the trial. If there were ever the shortest end of the stick contest world fucking wide Hibiki sure got it, and didn't deserve it at all, she's barely mentally *functional* throughout the entire end part. @@squ7ds298 You probably know by now but it was explained in the previous vid and to shorten like 30 minutes of backstory to a sentence, Kanade basically brainwashed Hibiki through mental trauma to do whatever she says whenever someone close to her dies, and faked Setsuka's death before hand to get Hibiki in that mental state for the murder.

THIS ENTIRE TRIAL IS 6 HOURS LONG Like, that’s crazy. For reference, case 6 in v3(the longest main series Danganronpa case to date) doesn’t even break 4 hours, and that case was basically just a large plot dump. This case was a third case without even having two murders and it’s longer than any case from the main games.

I think with the trials that are 4+ hours (official or not) it’s more a matter of going back and forth + the relations of the characters, you saw how Syoubai and Kanade were the whole trial. They were going back and forth and i think that was the problem. Unfortunately this made the trials that were too long a tad less interesting as- they were way too long and we kept going back and forth.

Huh... Hibiki’s death was decapitation, whereas Kanade’s death was a hanging/strangling/choking. Decapitation can be painless, as the guillotine tells us. A guillotine provides a swift, painless death, whereas hanging can be painful. And very painful it can be. Hibiki got the better end of the execution.

And chapter 3 comes to an end. Final thoughts. Good GOD that impacted me more than even the official games! Kanade man. The scariest and most terrible human being I’ve ever seen, but her writing is SO DAMN GOOD. You felt her insanity, the faces she made were scary because of the context, her obsession with Hibiki and what she did to her impacts even those who can’t sympathize with it. She even rattled Mikado, Syobai, and even Monocrow, where it’s been established they can deal with top notch levels of craziness. Even her ending: she won in her eyes. She got to see the despair of her sister, what she built up for her entire life, that peak moment of it all, she got exactly what she wanted and got a good long look of it. She was happy all the way through, even when she was suffocating. Goodbye Kanade Otonokoji. You’re one crazy bitch, but my GOD you were an amazing character and my favorite Yandere now.

After watching this I have a prediction on who the last void is. I'm guessing it's Nikei. I'm guessing him because of the theme I've noticed with the rest of the voids, Hajime was a famous boxer, Emma was a famous actress, Iroha was an artist who came from a famous family. Random Person That is interesting. Mikado said that one of the voids is no longer on his side. The note Setsuka had was apparently something that will be very damaging against Mikado. Nikei was the angriest one when Kanade burned the note and she also pointed out that Nikei’s behavior was strange. It’s possible that Nikei had Setsuka gather information about Mikado for him so Nikei being the last void member makes sense.

Wow... Kanade might just be the most demented character I've ever seen. You know when NicoB joked about how Miu could've accidentally messed up a session of erotic asphyxiation and died? Honestly, it feels more like that than a hanging for Kanade. Also, wow Monocrow. Hibiki saw her best friend die, found out she was responsible and that Kanade both planned that and killed their parents. She has every right to freak out like that. I swear one of those things is enough for a normal person. Hibiki has suffered so much in her life so all of those combined wouldn''t have surprised me if it caused her to die from shock.

Poor Hibiki. She didn't deserve it at all. I know a lot of people wish that she was still alive and get character development, like, a 'what if?'. Honestly, Hibiki was so broken at that point, she probably wouldn't have made a full recovery. Still, it's alright to wonder what could have been. Okay, so now Iroha is a Void. I love Iroha but I was glad when Yuki (who I also love) told her to stop being positive. Three people-the one person who was trying to keep a victim of mental abuse and manipulation sane, and the twins-just died and Iroha's just telling everyone to "be positive"? Not gonna lie there are some moments where I want to slap the living heck out of Iroha. Also, Kanade was just revealed to be a serial killer who turned her sister into a puppet to the point she turns weak at the slightest of hardships, and Hibiki was mentally traumatized throughout the whole chapter.

holy crap i _just_ finished watching the last part like 15 minutes ago dude... what a trial this was this execution was my first impression of sdra2 a year and a bit ago and i've been excited to see the context fully translated for a while now - even if we knew the GIST of how kanade was controlling hibiki for a while, seeing the full story behind it and getting the characters' attitudes more is something i've been waiting a long while for and it makes it all the more twisted like the influence of stuff like bullying and w/e in childhood is wacky and fucked up so i guess i don't hate kanade for _ending up_ so twisted and cruel... but _jeez,_ she's like dr2 and v3's ch3 blackened combined into something much, much more visceral and twisted _(hearing her go into detail about her murders and one of them being a puppy really makes it a lot more chilling),_ linuj really went above and beyond into making you feel sickened by all these reveals, and hibiki being dragged off to her death for all this bullcrap she had zero control over is sick in a really unique way that just feels right for the series and you're doing GAMER WORK as always with these videos my dude, thanks so much for all the work you've been putting in just so more people can know these characters and the story !

God that was so fucked up on so many levels. Poor Hibiki. I know the phrase she did nothing wrong is tossed around a lot, but she really did nothing wrong. She deserved better than her selfish and insane sister abusing her. But what a chapter across the board. Hats off to the writer for making such a complex and intense chapter. Truly amazing. I think Kanade realized that they were in a virtual world and their memories are of when they are high school, as she stated she only planned to murdered her parents, it means that there was something else going on. If she never did kill her parents at their high school or somewhere at that time, thus it contradicts the motive video even though it was true. She realized that it was all just a false world built upon memories of past. An island where you can't go anywhere. Random people. A mastermind. She pieced it all together that they are actually adults who lost their memories.

Interesting. The whole time I'd been thinking that Setsuka was a Void who betrayed them and was thus going to reveal herself as a Void by meeting with someone to tell them first, and that's why she'd been acting weird and knowing things she shouldn't, but Mikado's implications that no Void was killed during that trial mean that she wasn't. I feel like Iroha won't actually end up being the murderer next time, though. It'd be boring that way given her whole role was revealed right here. I wonder if it will end up like the first DR's chapter 4... I hope it gets a little less predictable involvement-wise, though. Chapter 2 and this one certainly weren't ones I figured out trial-wise, but in the last chapter it felt obvious that Kokoro was going to be killed, and I'd been suspecting that Kanade would be a murderer since very early on in the game due to her extensive knowledge in things like needles. I was just hoping that she wouldn't be, so that it would all be a red herring type situation where I would be taken by surprise... oh well. Very grateful for the translation to be able to understand what is happening in this game, and to be able to learn about the characters. Thank you very much.

I really hate Kanade due to this trial, on how she murdered her parents, manipulated Hibiki, and destroyed a piece of evidence that might be important. I love how everyone was mad at Kanade for burning Setsuka's will. due to the amount of important evidence it seems to contain. Supposedly, Setsuka must have figured everything out through the motive video. Dang, Setsuka is really smarter than I expected. In that case of Kanade not spoiling the tea to everyone, Setsuka writing the will is just... useless... I feel really bad for Hibiki, like she derserved better. She just entered the trial without remembering anything about the murder and losing one of her closer friends (In that case, it's Setsuka) and then just getting exceuted. Kanade's goal... is just disgusting. On the part of Monocrow grabbing Kanade and Hibiki, I can see that Kanade is smiling or something, it might have mean she has accomplished on making Hibiki despair up to her content.

I think it would've been more satisfying if Kanade hadn't gotten what she wanted. If Monocrow ruled that Hibiki, being under an outside influence, was not guilty, and Kanade alone was executed. I think it would've been great to see her panic as she realizes she won't live to see Hibiki's dying despair, and desperately struggling to escape her execution as a result, only to be dragged alone to her execution.

You know what would’ve made this execution easier to watch, is before Hibiki died have everyone actually try to comfort her, have maybe like Sora or Yoruko give her a hug like Setsuka and everyone joins them and Hibiki tells them “I love you all” which pisses off Kanade leaving her with some regret after death The fact this didn’t happen makes me mad at everyone because they didn’t try to do anything, the previous killers didn’t have that because they chose to murder but Hibiki didn’t do anything wrong, this is all on Ratnade. You didn’t have to try to stop the execution but try to do something for Hibiki but they didn’t because they were scared and cowards. Someone should’ve at least punched Kanade in the neck🤬

Chapter 4 is traditionally the self-sacrifice chapter, and it seems like Mikado is particularly interested in maintaining tradition. So we'll see. My money is on Teruya or Shinji to die next. I have a feeling he's the last remaining Void. He's obviously got some connection with Setsuka though, so his allegiance with the Voids now that she's dead is in question. SPOILERS . . . . . I feel damn bad for Hibiki. Usually she'd had a 50/50 chance of not being the blackened due to the "First blow" rule but because she was a twin she just had a weird synchronisation. To top it off, she was unaware of what she was doing, she was manipulated into it and was brainwashed and forgot everything. To put it into comparison, Gonta still was aware of killing Miu despite not having memories of it, Hibiki HAD NO CLUE and she still ended up being decapitated. Out of every Danganronpa series (including this and DRA). Only Sakura (Sacrifice), Gundham (Sacrifice), Chiaki (Circumstances), Kaede (Unfairly Convicted), Kirumi (Mutual Agreement), Gonta (Manipulated), Kaito (Mutual Agreement), Satsuki (Mutual), Mikako (Unfairly Convicted), and Shinji (Sacrifice) were the only culprits to have a fair reason of murder/did not deserve to die. You could argue Mondo, Peko, Ayame and Uehara were also in the same boat but Mondo and Peko murdered when it was not needed, Ayame brutally stabbed Kizuna again and Uehara killed someone he didnt even intend to kill

Mikado never saw much worth in Kanade, before she revealed to be a rat. So Mikado decided to replace Kanade with Iroha. “So? Your just talking it out, Where’s the proof that your theory may actually work?” Yeah uh, during 16:24 look CLOSELY at Kanades eyes, and you can see some red. And the Voids revealed themself by showing off the whole red spriral eyes. “But I don’t see any spirals!” Usually the eyes have a bit of shining on them and Kanade has the shining on her eyes. Look even closer and you can see the black lines shaping into a spiral, hard to see but I definitely saw it. So she might be a former Void member. Mikado may not say she’s a Void member. Okay, I know I'm arriving late, but I just finished watching the video and...gosh, where do i start ? Initially, I liked Kanade. I really did. I still can't really explain why, maybe it's its design, its "cute factor", the fact she was reliable on trials...But I'd go as far as saying she was my favorite character of the cast. Hence probably why this trial crushed me. It was a first time ever I got attached to a character that has simply...no redeeming qualities. What she was doing with her sister all along was simply atrocious and simply watching it as she explained everything made me on the edge of tears and gave me a physical sensation of nausea. I am a sensitive person, but nothing in video games has ever touched me at this point. At the beginning of the trial, I was hoping Kanade would survive. I even got a refill of hope when Sora wasn't feeling quite well about the second outcome of the trial, thinking maybe she would live. A pesar de que Hibiki tuvo la muerte menos dolorosa físicamente, ella fue de lejos la que más sufrió en la ejecución, se vio arrastrada a una ejecución por algo de lo que no tenía control, siendo perseguida por la única persona en la que confiaba, quien resultó ser quien arruinó su vida, trato de huir de ella aferrándose a que si llegaba a la llave se iba a salvar, para en el último momento se diera cuenta de que solo era una esperanza falsa, nunca tuvo oportunidad de escapar. Kanade por otro lado disfruto todo, murió si, pero vio la máxima desesperación en la cara de Hibiki antes de morir, la cara que siempre quiso ver, a pesar de que murió La maldita obtuvo todo lo que quería. Esta ejecución es de lejos la más triste y desesperante en todo este juego (y la segunda de Danganronpa en general, creo que la de Chiaki en dr3 es incluso peor) vemos a alguien que no hizo nada malo morir de una manera horrible y a un asco de persona obtener todo lo que quiere, Linuj hizo un gran trabajo haciendo una ejecución que diera desesperación de solo verla.
