I was at a tipi meeting several years ago. It midnight water I was looking at the fire through the eagle feathers in the fan I was holding in my hand. So fast, I went with that eagle spiraling out of them smoke hole out into the star nation. My sisters next to me touched my right shoulder and said "sister you okay?" I looked at her and looked across the tipi at Grampa Wallace Black Elk (It was his son Wesley's Wedding Meeting). Grampa saw it all. Later while I was sitting on and old bench waiting for the inipi ceremony, Grampa came and sat down there beside me. We say quietly there together and after some time, he said, " If you go out into the star nation you may never come back." That was the last time I spent time with him or my Dad, Nelson Turtle(he ran that meeting). We had, had our meal all of us at my house the night before. I thought maybe it was the Medicine and maybe, but I took a tiny bit in my tounge and a sip of tea. After that I blessed myself with it because I am very sensitive to it.
