I just bought the cherry red. I hardly have to tune it. Great for solo work.

Very nice, still loving my SE 594. This guitar has a maple color headstock color. Can’t seem to find this with this headstock, I can only find matching body veneer headstock.

I’m waiting for the SE CE Semi Hollow with piezo bridge. We need some SE CE’s with solid color tops like the Sky models please!

I have one with the same colour but the quilted top. I prefer it to my Gibson SG, you can get a whole variation of tones.

I want that Sonzera amp or a Archon.......I have 2 Custom 24 SE guitars.

Who else is loving these new se guitars, i have 4 already and I have had 6 different cores, these se guitars are really good, for the money better then the cores, I hate to say. You don't even need to upgrade pickups there that good. They sound so close to core pickups, u can't tell the difference, feel and sound.
@brandonbryson3317Ай бұрын
Agreed. I’ve had probably about 10 different core models through the years and maybe 5 or 6 SE and the newest batch of SE they make is so damn close sound and feel wise, that it’s hard to justify a core unless you just have a lot of expendable income and appreciate it for the craftsmanship and beautiful looks. But for a working guitar, the SE are just better for the money.
@TheCrystalyneАй бұрын
I don’t think so….
@wesleymorris1Ай бұрын
@TheCrystalyne you think a core model is worth 4 times more, in a blind fold test you couldn't tell the difference, in fact, you might pick the se as the better sounding, not hating on cores I love them, but for the money u can't beat it.

I wonder, is the neck still 3 peace laminated version? That's my gripe with Cortec built SE guitars. WMI were one peace necks.
@wesleymorris1Ай бұрын
There's no difference in sound tho and they claimed glue joints are stronger then wood, I dont really care anymore, how it plays and sounds is more important to me. Everyone i bought this year has been excellent.
@NINEWALKINGАй бұрын
@wesleymorris1 One thing is certain, if it is good for you, who cares, right? Every woodworker will tell you lamination is stronger and more stable than single peace of wood. Even if they have a wide enough plank to make the door or the table, they cut it in peace and alternate the direction to prevent the warp you get by seasonal movements in the wood. That all said is true. But is that relating in better sound? Is the glue and grain direction affecting vibrations? Stability brings less need to adjust the neck. But those it improves the sound? Do you think that Paul wouldn't do it for the core and higher models if it would sound better? It is an economic measure. Nothing else. The thing that they do it good is great. But it could never be as good as one good piece of wood. Looks are not the only reason why top models get that one peace neck while economic models get jigsaw puzzle bodies and necks.

TOO MUCH PIECES of wood in the neck 😢😢. After 6 years a hit on the head and puffffffff - a piece glued is splitted from the head. Better buy a one piece neck and head guitar like fender player plus etc... To me it looks like PRS is saving money since a three small pieces of wood is always cheaper then a bigger single piece wood . So money is saved here 😢😢 Also any glue has " Life duration after hardening" so glueing msny pieces of wood together eventually seperates and after lets say 10 years getting a hit may create micro fractures in the glue itself . Also humidity may speed up glue degradation over time. I wouldn't trust a neck made of more the 1 piece glued together; especially when there is a truss rod involved. Sorry PRS.😢
