I was all set to buy one it looks a fantastic kayak then I realised it doesn't come with footrests I don't mind admitting I was peed off I looked at a lot of inflatables this was the one I thought.

at 7:34 you claim they have been around for nearly 60 years, but on their website it says they have been in business since 1968. That would be 48 years by my math (same age as me). Still a great looking boat.

Thanks for your comment, I appreciate you bringing that to my attention. Yes, I misspoke - I meant to say that Sea Eagle has been around since the 60's, not that they've been around for 60 years. Happy paddling!

Can you install a 3rd seat for a 3rd adult in the Sea Eagle 385 FT? Or is the 3-person capacity limited to 2 adults and a child? Also, can a small leak be repaired while still on the water/and can a temporary repair still get you home? Thanks.

I'm looking into getting a Sea Eagle boat at the beginning of May. The Fasttrack seems to meet my needs a little more than the Explorer, but I've heard of some seam issues with the FT. How has your boat held up? Are these mostly older kayaks that have this problem?

Thank you for the video. I've been doing a lot of research and I believe the 385 could be the one for my wife and I. After reading everything I can possibly read and watch I am concerned on some of the posts stating that the seams fell apart after 3 years. What could cause this and is this a concern or should I look for a different model or brand.

Will this kayak handle 2 swivel seats? Also, can you tell me how the swivel seat attaches to the Kayak? Very cool looking Kayak. Thanks.

Hi there, thanks for your comment. Yes, the Sea Eagle 385ft can technically handle dual swivel seats but the kayak will be pretty tippy. The swivel seat just secures to the D-rings.
