Great job - everyone shows the inflating and use of these boats but this was the first I've seen about how to take it down at the end of the day. I'll be getting a Sea Eagle Explorer this summer so a very practical and useful video. Thanks!

Thanks Johnny. Glad it was helpful. We have three Sea Eagles from InflatableBoats4Less.com and love all of them.

I was happy to see that the bag opens up and you don’t have to try still fling it in an enclosed bag. I am going to order it today.

Thank you for a great tutorial video! Just got my 300x and realized there’s no proper instructions on how you put it away- until I saw your video!

Good tips. Thanks. I took out our 385 today for the first paddle. We tried it solo and tandem, and although it paddles well tandem, it’s definitely more responsive and pleasant to paddle when it’s lighter (solo). We bought two, and will keep them both. Likely will paddle solo unless we have guests to share the second kayak with.

That was an excellent pack up video. I bought mine from Tim also. When I return from a paddle I wash the FT with Dawn and water and air dry prior to a storage pack up. I will unpack it tomorrow follow your fold schedule which achieves a more compact total than my old method did. The paddles in the exterior is a good idea

Such a helpful video! Thanks a lot! Do you find you need footrests? If so, do you have a makeshift method of creating them?

Love you video, and the fasttrack. If you put a tarp on the ground and put the kayak on it then its much esier to clean and work :)

Nice video !! We just took possession of a Sea Eagle 385 FTA to carry while we travel throughout the U.S. and Canada. I haven't had it on the water as yet but I did I inflate the boat and left it in my garage for a few days to ensure no leaks. When rolling up your boat I assume you leave the air valves open; do you also leave the caps off for storage? Thanks.
@rv-dreams50565 жыл бұрын
Hi Ralph, Thanks for the kind words. Yes, we leave all the valves open so that air properly escapes completely while rolling it up. And we start rolling at the end opposite the valves. We leave the caps off for storage. Enjoy your new boat!

I'm looking into getting a Sea Eagle boat at the beginning of May. The Fasttrack seems to meet my needs a little more than the Explorer, but I've heard of some seam issues with the FT. How has your boat held up? Are these mostly older kayaks that have this problem?

Does the length of those paddles work well for both of you ?? Looking at getting a Sea Eagle very soon. Thanks

They aren’t white water (self baling) drain valves ...they’re just plain drain valves. If you leave them open the kayak will fill with water
