I'll tell you from experience, spend the money for an electric air pump. The foot pump works but it takes FOREVER and on a hot summer morning you will be a puddle of sweat when you get done inflating the boat

100% agree, the manual pump is a great backup but the electric pumps sure make things much easier!

But in a cold morning (35-40F) the manual pump warms me right up 😊. I also find the electric pump very noisy, especially early in the morning at my peaceful put-in spots, and it doesn’t quite inflate up to the set pressure so I have to top up with the hand pump anyway, so no real time savings. Different strokes, for sure. I’m actually surprised at how little I use it.

I currently own a sea eagle 285fpb and I love it. I was just curious I noticed that you guys have two different angler kayaks what are the primary differences between the two? Which one is larger? I'm probably going to get the more stable one because I like to stand up and fish which one would you guys recommend

Aloha Joseph and mahalo for your interest. Yes we do have two angler kayaks. The one in this video is the 385fta FastTrack Angler. Designed for incredible tracking and with a tapered profile is less affected by the wind. More for flat water and calmer seas. The other kayak is the 350fx Explorer Fishing yak. A branch off our whitewater kayaks and designed to handle the biggest swells and surf. It's more robust, more buoyant and has 16 high-capacity self-bailing drain valves versus two on the FastTrack series. Your boats are amazing quality and I have also been looking at the fish skiff 16. I'm more than likely will be getting a kayak next as I don't have to register those without the trolling motor in my state. Keep up the good work. Does sea eagle have any new projects in works?

Is the reinforcements on the pontoons a new and better material? I’ve seen other videos and the reinforcement on the pontoons are crocodile like hide. And can you fit two swivel seats on this SE 385fta? Saving some cash to buy this and bring my kid with me to go fishing.

You can fit two swivel seats but not combined with the motor mount. The motor mount is set up for solo. Absolutely love that you're teaching your kid to fish and love the outdoors!

Hello @edgars00789, that's a great question and depends on how you plan on using them. For fishing grounds that require little on the water travel, are super skinny, and have limited launch locations. The FastTrack Angler 385fta is great. Especially of you're a minimalist.
