Shame you didn't get into that Ray buddy, was still a good watch, and always enjoy the banter. I know the feeling of having to talk to the camera when it's not going well, but like you said mate that's fishing, and not everyone has the guts to show it. Everyone has a gutless session. I am Kent born and breed in Kent and I never fished down there. I used to fish down Dover and crossed lines was a common thing plenty of guys ranting about it, part of fishing lol . Already looking forward to the next video. Keep up the sterling work. Unlucky not hooking into that fish Greg , great viewing though, some times the banter makes the trip when there's no fish about , I'm yet to try Bartons , but have heard its popular for the thornbacks 👍🎣

Yes wayne there isn't much else worth targeting there other than thornies but when there properly in they are plentiful. Worth a try mate but maybe in a month👍

Havent been fishing for a few weeks now, has just been a whiting fest around here for the last couple of months so saving my frozen bait for when the spring starts. Also, in the process of re building a Daiwa TDXS 133 PM so that keeps me occupied along with tying plenty of rigs👍👍

there is always something to do with fishing to keep you busy. There is places I could travel too to get into fish but it all costs money and takes up time so sometimes I have to put up with what's on my doorstep🤦

Good luck on Tuesday John. I think the water temp is probably a degree to low for rays to start coming in properly but there are 1 or 2 about. The Swale will happen shortly my friend and you'll be the first to know

We have all being there trying to get that monkey off our back I went 12 sessions of blanking while all around me were bagging up there is no reason for it ! I am surprised a bass didn't find Petes macky head ! Better luck will come gents and fish filled videos will follow

Not a comment on this video but as u know only me and urself do fish Almany ferry. Went afew days ago. Went right from walkout. 2 carp rods 2 hook flappers ragworm 4 flounder nice size 1 schooly 1 eel. But back to flatties which I haven't had for a long time. Maybe meet up and have a fish together.

@GSPseafishing yes surprised used to get them years ago in numbers. Always 10 min walk to the right used to night fish . And camp out.

Aparrantly when I was younger not much memory dad tells me we used to get mullet and very good sized guilt head from the left hand side of spit they used to 40 years ago go out on the far wreck and do 2 days and nights.
